Great video! Best part was when Joel’s drone arrived before him. I feel like once you’ve done car camping you never want to be in a tent again. It seems nice and cozy but it isn’t! So much safer in the car. I missed your tail veil. I finally got mine on the car to see how it looks. Can’t wait to use it next week. Get a thermacell thing for the horrible bugs out there. Maybe you should wear a helmet on the scooter? Great video!
Thanks and Yeah after doing tent and van camping many times I’ve learned how much I love van camping. I will still do some tent camping but mainly at super nice spots like by a lake, river, high elevation with a nice view. Basically the scenery has to be worth it.

I saw some downed trees in the background, could invest in a saw and use those instead of paying $6 a bundle at the gas station and carrying it in.. just a thought

Try loading everything in a conue and crossing a river,,,very nice on river but alot of work with many trips back and forth, for 3 adults and 8 year old grand daughter. That memory is the best and last time I camp with my brother,,camping has a deep meaning ,ill hold on for ever

Finally lol! Thanks for letting me use it bro. I let my daughter and cousin sleep in it in back yard the night after to air dry it. Then I vacuumed it all out next day so it’s ready to go back to you clean.

When I put my tents up I usually put a clean tarp underneath.Keeps it in good condition a bit longer. Also I will put an old tarp or an old blanket on the floor inside. That way keeps the tent floor a bit cleaner for a bit longer. Also if it rains very hard and the ground gets wet, maybe the floor of the tent will stay dry.
Yeah I normally do that with my tent, but this is my buddies and don’t have one big enough plus he doesn’t really care lol

have you tried any backpack camping trips on the scooter? I rode my D4 120 miles to Bend last summer. such a blast.

Not yet, but definitely going to use the scooter and e bike to get farther back in the woods at some point.
My buddy Joel doesn’t have a tent anymore, needs a new one so we just brought the big daddy since we knew we weren’t walking to far. Didn’t need the bigger stove for what I did in the tent so worked out perfect. My cot is actual a super light weight backpacking cot, joel’s on the other hand is definitely not lol
I have to say that I am Indian and you guys are cooking Indian food from a package which I never done LOL. If I was there I would treat you guys to some Trinidadian cuisine

We have many times, but unless you have a nice tool for cutting and can find dry wood it’s to much of a pain loading the fire with sticks. Getting a small electric chainsaw soon

You shouldn’t eat in your tent or keep food or products with a scent like toothpaste if you are in bear country. Even if you are sleeping in your car you should keep your food in a bear safe cooler away from where you sleep
