- Aquí tenemos a Miguel Montalban en las calles de Londres a 3°C en el Festival de la conocida Denmark Street interpretando Stairway to Heaven de Led Zeppelin.
Here we are with the great guitar player Miguel Montalban at the cold streets of London during the Denmark street Festival performing Stairway to Heaven on his way.
Great and wonderful concert with no many people where Miguel dealt against the weather without problems and playing his well known LesPaul Guitar.

What I like about this guy is that he isn't just replaying the songs- he's reinterpreting them. He throws in a lot of stuff that's not in the originals.

Its incredible how clean the notes are from this guy. Unbelievable talented and hard work from him for sure.
Like it or loathe it as an interpretation of a classic, nobody can question Miguel’s playing. It must be lovely to be able to make any instrument ‘sing’ like he does. Thank you Miguel.

From what I heard, Miguel puts in together all the background music in his performances, he dubs and records all the background music himself...what a very talented guy....

Of all the renditions of this song that I have heard over the decades, this has to be one of the best versions, if not the very best! How can folks just walk by and not stop and listen? I would be glued to the spot until he was done with his entire daily gig.

Stairway to heaven imagined in in its best form...its dream of every guiter player to play it their way....the song has its own glory....no matter how one plays it....absolutely loved it....gosh it really was a stairway which led to heaven.....
Led zeppelin would acknowledge this young man as one of the greatest interpretations of there songs of all time Amazing how he interprets this song into his own unique style Love this player

Amazing to watch and listen to this guy. He does a very tasteful rendition of what’s probably the most iconic song ever written. I would’ve loved to have seen this in person.

Improvisation of the century this! Makes it sound like it's a tune we've never heard before. That's what makes it the best song in the world! What an instrument the Les Paul is, its sound and tone is god given.

I feel like it due to people accepting being told who to listen to and where, and I love seeing performances like this with hardly anybody seeming to care how amazing it is, and it's right in there faces for free but they walk on by oblivious, interesting eh?
How can anyone pass by and not stop for one moment to listen to this ? I will never understand. One day soon people will pay just to stand in line and will regret that they didn't pay attention to this great talent when it was for free !!

Saw him before covid playing up the west end and as you said I couldn't walk past ...and I have not been a fan of electric guitar playing but he changed my mind.

Life long Zeppelin enthusiast and I will say this Miguel has just really brought a new demention to a classic! I live the whole Zeppelin catalog but Stairway for me has been played out. This for me was very refreshing. Would love to see him and Page dueling this one out.

...like many a few who walked by? I myself was stopped dead in my tracks in wonderment, and listened to every vibrations of tone, notes, and timing of the song this guy is putting together! I guess I have a little more insight into the work it takes to make things like this look so ... incredible? Or is it more appreciation and administration of one who has reach such levels of talent !
