  • Two popular spearguns in Rob Allen series include carbon & carbon allow spearguns. In this video, Mitch from Adreno Spearfishing Melbourne explains the differences between the two types of spearguns.
Rob Allen carbon spearguns are a lot lighter than carbon alloy spearguns. Since Rob Allen carbon spearguns are lighter than carbon alloy spearguns, it’s a lot easier to maneuver and track fish in the water, especially with longer spearguns. Another main difference is that carbon spearguns are much stronger than carbon alloy spearguns, and experience less barrel flex which is a huge advantage.

Onee big difference for me is buoyancy. The aluminum guns are nose heavy if your layin on the bottom and want to have the gun poised out in front of you the ally guns feel heavy on the wrist and any extra effort consumes more oxygen. Carbons are quieter when fired too not that it matters alot.
