Pasta Fagioli is one of the soups I have in my freezer all year round! I have; Pasta Fagioli, Mulligatawny, Chicken n'Dumpling soup, and Italian Wedding Soup! I take out a container to thaw in the refrigerator for the next day... almost every day!

Vegetarian version would be to use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth

@@patchsgal Sure, but the point here is that if you're using chicken stock, the dish is not vegetarian. And certainly not vegan.
The cookware prices are astronomical. My Italian grandmother made incomparable sauce in the pots I still have. I’m sure she didn’t pay $200 for her sauce pot. Geez

Maybe he's doing both. What's wrong with that? It's the American way after all. And he does love to share recipes. And we enjoy it!
All our local Italian restaurants are adding lots of chili pepper flakes to every dish. It is too much. Tell them not to put chili pepper in EVERYthing on the menu!!!
