    New subscriber here! Thanks for this particular video... because of depression while grieving the death of my son... I've become immobile from sitting too much and now need to learn to walk again. I find when I stand I cannot stand straight up anymore and I believe it's 100% from sitting too much. There is no other reason I shouldn't be able to stand and walk. So now I need to strengthen my leg muscles to carry my body so I can walk again and this exercise might be a good place to start. I'm only 53 and am far too young to be completely immobile. I LOVE your teaching style and your passion and look forward to watching many more of your videos. Thank you so very much for being so supportive to all of us out here who are lacking... Ok... wish me luck! 😊

      Hi Gail, our deepest condolences to you and your family.
      We are so proud of you for showing up and controlling what you can control. By progressively strength training, we can safely and effectively add more strength to our lower-body and improve mobility.
      Thank you for your comment and we hope you're doing well and staying safe!

      I am new to this channel as well. I came here by recommendation from a group thru the MSAA to try to get mobile a little more following the death of my son 2 years ago. I understand your pain and depression and the crawling into a wall. I do have MS and have transitioned onto a walker from crutches. But the sitting and doing nothing because of the depression and the pandemic and fear of going anywhere because I might get sick is overwhelming. I have been binge watching these videos and working with my SIL who is an OT to come up with the best routine for me to start out.. Bless you and peace to you Gail.

    Thank you so much for doing this, I have been trying everything, and I don't want to die of exhaustion because when they have all other exercise, they kill my spoon energy, I finally found something that gives me that gratifying burn and I am not exhausting myself where I can't do anything later, thank you all so much for this, I am still a volunteer firefighter, but i know I need to lose weight, and this program allows me to do this and helps me continue to work on my health. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

    How to walking balance?

    • @MSWorkouts
      @MSWorkouts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to improve your balance, then you can try performing lower body exercises in this video: th-cam.com/video/7KKDFfTGWLo/w-d-xo.html
      Remember that improving mobility doesn't happen overnight. The important thing is to show up and give your best effort during the exercises. Write down your results, rest, eat nutrient dense food and focus on getting quality sleep. Over time you should notice increases in muscular strength and improved mobility. Keep us updated on who you 're doing!
