NGN Gaming is it possible that I can upgrade some of the lower tier items (guns, backpacks, and etc.) that I like into high tier items. I remember watching another gamer and he had a Scar-H, a cool black backpack, and etc. And watching him in another video, he had the same stuff he had in the last video but it was higher tier. If it's possible what do I need to upgrade my stuff? Also another question, when I disassemble some of my items what can I use it for?
I ran a turret and a healing chem launcher going solo in levels one through 30, place the turret as high as you can with a good field of view and it makes a world of difference
@NizzyNizerson turret has really good range go for it , helps a lot if you are struggling with a lot of enemies overwhelming you, it keeps their attention and tags them
Currently I’m running the turret and the shield instead of the Chem launcher as I find it helps even more when u get jumped by a boat load of enemy’s and it feels awesome when u get the push on the enemy whilst using the shield
@@daito7729 Which variant of the Shield did you use? I went in with AI support (Turrent and Drone) although the further into the game the drone gets destroyed pretty quickly
Good tip to include: always donate to the allied control points and instead of selling off trinkets at vendors, look out for allies who are working/scouting because they may need something. I understand saving side missions for Lvl 18 and above, but there were some I went for early because I needed weapon mods blueprints.

I pumped a whole lot of Time into the first division. But not until long after they patched most of it up. I just picked up Division 2 and I'm about to Start playing. This is a great help! Thanks dude. I've never really been a huge fan of the PVP sections of the games and also the dark zone, but I'm willing to check it out

I've been running solo at I'm at level 16 right now. I use the Chem Launcher Healing and Assault Turret. I haven't had many problems with those skills but like you said, identifying your landscape before engaging is a huge part of whether you will die or not. Awesome video!
This might be late but I'm a 3 dollar player and I just gotta say. I played beta and got bored of the game pretty quick so I left it. Now that I came I thought I'd hate the game, but I've actually been LOVING it. I own the warlords dlc and have gotten to level 40 in just 3 days of non-stop playing main missions and sides with a friend of course. I heavily recommend this game to my friends because it's actually chalk full of content and lore that is easy to understand. Great video, great content, for sure subbed.
Div1 & 2 was an absolute fantastic story. I've played 1-30 and beyond on 3 characters and never get tired of hearing the back story, and the tales of DC & NYC, and The Division agents.

I highly recommend the WIFE TIP. I have been doing that ever since Division 1. Why keep you skills up when you could allow them to cool down even sooner for the next engagement.
That's in addition to being able to re-position for a better tactical advantage. (I rely pretty heavily on the Hive - whatever the only offensive function is called.)
Great video as always, and if there is any tip I can give players so is it. Stay in the Fing cover!. I have lost count of how many times I have died from my old Division one instincts kick in and I want to not use cover in a fight. Like 80% of all the times I does so is it because I'm not in cover. So takes NGN's advice and hug that piece of cover and never ever let it go.
I'm sure someone else already commented about this by now, but I love that Ubisoft updated the game to where you can pick UP your placeable gear like turrets & what-not.. Also speaking of turrets for the newer players, look around the area prior to engagement for a high place for your turret to sit, it'll give it a better field of view & make it more difficult for the heavy units to destroy it.. (I've seen one walk right up to my turret & either stomp on it or kick it, destroying it)
Chem Launcher with repair is a good first pick (the best way to heal because of short cooldown). I would recommend as the second pick the Hive with reviving (one extra life when you get killed). Especially when you run solo. I leveled 3 Characters so far and I had to do only 3 Side missions to get to max level. Now I have all the side missions to level past 31 to get fast points for my specialization. Just do main-missions, control-points and all the red marks on your way to find all SHD-caches. That should bring you to 28-29. Plus every control point became a checkpoint for fast traveling.
Would highly recommend crafting weapon mods when you can (sights, mags, etc), they can offer nice changes/buffs to weapons and they are permanent editions to your inventory that, to the best of knowledge don't take up space.
My absolute favorite skill for playing solo is the chem launcher armor heal, which I can drop any time I loose armor. Once for a quick burst of heal, twice for full armor. It can even be launched to heal squadmates in a pinch. I maxed out my armor plate capacity early on, but now I hardly ever have to stop and replace it with this skill.
I'm a returning player and this was explained nicely. I shared your vid to my friends who jus bought the game. This should stop the barrage if questions during game play. Keep up the great work.
STASH YOUR JUNK for future DONATIONS. (masks, kneepads, backpacks, armor holsters etc). Especially early levels when it doesn't give you much to sell or break them down. When making a donation at the project officer it looks at both your current inventory and your stash.
I am a turret and drone user which helps with slowing down and distracting NPCs. One thing that should have been covered was that you can select which NPC to target for each of those skills. Another strategy is to buy weapons from your clan vendor which always sells high end items and weapons. After I finish grinding, I sell my gear and buy the higher level of damage weapons from my clan vendor. Using this method I got to level 30 in several weeks. Your videos are great.
A tip I got for new players that a lot of my friends seem to forget about is that you can MOVE! No matter which faction you're fighting against, movement and re-positioning yourself to get out of a bad situation and also to get into more advantageous positions (such as above enemies or around their cover) can often change encounters from frustratingly long and difficult firefights to quick and easy skirmishes. As a side tip to go along with this one, if you or someone on your team uses LMGs, take advantage of the suppression mechanic and MOVE! Get more aggressive and flank enemies as turtling is an easy way to get cornered, flushed out, or even overrun in some cases. But keep in mind your Minimap like NGN mentioned! Don't run a flank that gets you surrounded and downed, being out of the action isn't just losing your team some damage but also losing a position on the field that enemies can now pass through to get to your teammates. Stay on your toes Agent!

Your tips on this video are spot on, as I have seen early on only thing that I could recommend to mention would be, if you decide to take on higher level stuff play from distance or toss distract skill away from you but close enough to keep you from enemies focused on the skill and not you . All good tips you mentioned though
Here's a tip for newer players, coming as a Div 1 vet, USE GRENADES, they deal massive damage and you can use it to prevent getting flanked due to AI not running into where the grenade lands
WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT SELL YOUR STUFF!!! Selling your guns isn't a good idea because you don't end up getting much cash at all. If any. Break it down instead. You get a good amount of materials for the bench later on. And if you need the cash. Do bountys. They seem to help the most for me.
Saving side missions until Lvl18 and after is the kind of tip I'm looking for, something that isn't obvious but can help tremendously. I would have just done the side missions as they became available, otherwise. Much better than the "loot everything" (no shit) kind of tip that most videos seen to have.
Main thing I do is I always look for the Charger/Rusher because if you engage a bunch of hostile and don’t look for Chargers/Rushers the can push you out of your cover and keep you out into the open.
Interesting about holding off on the side missions, I'm running a second char I will do it this way and see how it goes, my first one I was clearing each area before moving on. Thank you, great video as always.
If you're at the point of needing credits but also needing mats to crafter only sell anything purple and down. Disassemble anything else for materials. And if you happen to be leveling a second character, regardless of their level they can pull high level items from the shared stash and sell them. So craft away on a bunch of improvised gear to throw in the stash on your high level and swap over to sell on the lower level character.
When he talked about taking cover carefully i realized that i should apply that to apex too because all of the things he listed were completely relevant
Great video Joe. Picked up a couple of tips that will help, especially that info about the side missions. Wife Tip is also a good one, I've started cancelling skills (when not required) recently myself. I tend to take out the chargers first, then the grenadiers; I hate being displaced whenever it's not part of my plan. Looking forward to seeing what other videos you put out. Cheers bro.
I started playing last week and as a solo player i like using the assault turret because when it's well placed it's almost good as having a teammate especially when your armor is increasing the skill tier.
Job man. My tip is if you are having a hard time with a mission ask for help form friends or come back to it at a later time when you can get some bitter gear and weapons so you are more equipped
Just started out. Currently lvl 15. Still kinda confused as to what everything does an as well as builds, I’m a seasonal player. For now just discovering an doing missions
Right off the bat, kit up in along the Ellipse Driveway's stashes. Chests for weapons replenish at a certain time now (formerly after 24hrs) so looting things up at lvl 1 will make things easy in the early encounters (they're all set encounters until you secure the white house). Then sell em off after to get money quick.
For skill dps, i will highly recommend the striker drone, it harasses enemies drawing them off of you, the turret is better for a diversion but stationary is annoying especially on Hardcore
I figure this is normal to think about, but make sure you have varying range. You don't want to end up caught by a sniper, only to find out you don't have a counter.
Some good Combo's I used for leveling, were Gun Turret and drone, make for a strong offense, Also Gun turret and healing drone, or a cluster mine and a heal, Id use the Chem launcher sparingly, as its tricky to get the accuracy down, with so many target's moving, and also many people panic when they star getting shot.
A tip for new players, you have grenades use them when you have a enemy suppressed or if you want them to move out of a annoying spot you cant hit them at, toss a nade in the area and 99% chance they'll run
even when you reach level 30 and world tier 4 don't focus on builds right now. world tier 5 is almost out. Play the game until you get max gear score items then you can focus on builds. don't use recalibration and save gear that have good talents that you can use for recalibration same with weapons
Geoffrey Lim it doesn’t kill them but it does take most of their armor leaves like 2 bars which is better then full armor lol 😂 but gold rusher are pain so I would move to a different cover while they are about to rush

Wonderful guide. Sad to see theres no follow up videos. You may want to provide some new guides as plenty of people (like myself) have just gotten into the game with it being sold for $3 and the new expansion right around the corner.
Division 1 veteran and just got into world tier 5 on division 2. I would say a tip for beginners is to stay in cover, experiment and develop a play style you are comfortable with (what weapon loadouts, skillsx etc) When i was build up my gear score, i decided to screw my own style and just played around (with many deaths i might add). But i discovered a whole new world and different ways to combat the enemy, which honestly was very fun (i ran around non stop with a shotgun and cluster grenades, worked quite well in slme scenarios and horrible in some). Always enjoy your videos!
Straight away I went with seeker mine and striker drone, not once used a skill to heal myself. At level 16 the game started dropping gold items. Multiple items of the same set give better bonuses.
Almost every encounter i go into I place a turret up high somewhere, I also use the enemy beacon thing that pulses to locate enemy movement, I use a marksman rifle and rifle, so cover and range is my best friend... A few times ive been caught short of med packs and health and my turrent has saved the day

If ur a sniper like me find a tallish long distance where u can shoot from without other buildings or cars in the way and you'll have a good time noticeing the rushers coming at ya

Kinda makes the game less fun that you can’t build for a run and gun heal on kill type of play style. You’re basically just a turret.

And if you happen to be leveling a second character, regardless of their level they can pull high level items from the shared stash and sell them. So craft away on a bunch of improvised gear to throw in the stash on your high level and swap over to sell on the lower level character.

I started playing last week and as a solo player i like using the assault turret because when it's well placed it's almost good as having a teammate especially when your armor is increasing the skill tier.
Job man. My tip is if you are having a hard time with a mission ask for help form friends or come back to it at a later time when you can get some bitter gear and weapons so you are more equipped

Just started out. Currently lvl 15. Still kinda confused as to what everything does an as well as builds, I’m a seasonal player. For now just discovering an doing missions
Right off the bat, kit up in along the Ellipse Driveway's stashes. Chests for weapons replenish at a certain time now (formerly after 24hrs) so looting things up at lvl 1 will make things easy in the early encounters (they're all set encounters until you secure the white house). Then sell em off after to get money quick.

For skill dps, i will highly recommend the striker drone, it harasses enemies drawing them off of you, the turret is better for a diversion but stationary is annoying especially on Hardcore

Turret helped me tremendously early on. I used it to keep enemies from flanking me.
I figure this is normal to think about, but make sure you have varying range. You don't want to end up caught by a sniper, only to find out you don't have a counter.
Just bought Division 2 today for cheap and I'm excited to play after it finishes downloading.
Some good Combo's I used for leveling, were Gun Turret and drone, make for a strong offense, Also Gun turret and healing drone, or a cluster mine and a heal, Id use the Chem launcher sparingly, as its tricky to get the accuracy down, with so many target's moving, and also many people panic when they star getting shot.
A tip for new players, you have grenades use them when you have a enemy suppressed or if you want them to move out of a annoying spot you cant hit them at, toss a nade in the area and 99% chance they'll run

even when you reach level 30 and world tier 4 don't focus on builds right now. world tier 5 is almost out. Play the game until you get max gear score items then you can focus on builds. don't use recalibration and save gear that have good talents that you can use for recalibration same with weapons
Stinger hive is really good at covering your blindspots if you feel that you need more coverage from rushers
Do stinger actually cc yellow enemies? I know fire turret does
Geoffrey Lim it doesn’t kill them but it does take most of their armor leaves like 2 bars which is better then full armor lol 😂 but gold rusher are pain so I would move to a different cover while they are about to rush
@@calebware4290 I would prefer them not shooting me, the animation that they are burning gives me the opening to shoot them without getting 3 shotted..
If you like a challenge try it again in HardCore mode. Definitely made me rethink some situations 👍🏻.

@@Code_Pandorum99to level 40 yes , but if u do what he says it doesn’t take u to level 40 it just boosts you to level 30 . I’ve done it and I think it’s awful because I’m underpowered and I can’t do any of the hard level 30 missions cause my loot is so ass

Division 1 veteran and just got into world tier 5 on division 2. I would say a tip for beginners is to stay in cover, experiment and develop a play style you are comfortable with (what weapon loadouts, skillsx etc)
When i was build up my gear score, i decided to screw my own style and just played around (with many deaths i might add). But i discovered a whole new world and different ways to combat the enemy, which honestly was very fun (i ran around non stop with a shotgun and cluster grenades, worked quite well in slme scenarios and horrible in some). Always enjoy your videos!

Straight away I went with seeker mine and striker drone, not once used a skill to heal myself. At level 16 the game started dropping gold items. Multiple items of the same set give better bonuses.
Almost every encounter i go into I place a turret up high somewhere, I also use the enemy beacon thing that pulses to locate enemy movement, I use a marksman rifle and rifle, so cover and range is my best friend... A few times ive been caught short of med packs and health and my turrent has saved the day
Not gonna lie, super disappointed this isn't one of your great lore videos. But I understand wanting all the information, and wanting it correct. It will just make it better when they do come out. This is still a great video. Cheers!

If ur a sniper like me find a tallish long distance where u can shoot from without other buildings or cars in the way and you'll have a good time noticeing the rushers coming at ya
