Boiling Maple Tree Sap

This video walks thru the steps to boil Maple Tree sap. It highlights the ratio of sap to syrup, offers up a fuel source for boiling and how long it make take to boil. It also recommends when to filter the sap as it boils down towards becoming syrup. Their are additional tips on storing the sap while waiting to boil. Also tips on keeping the boil going as you add additional sap to your pots.

I shot the video, but I had a technical problem, so I couldn't use it. I was going to shoot it this Spring, but was in Florida in March and by the time I got back the warm winter had the Maple sap run already done. Bummer, I didn't tap my trees this Spring. So, now I need to wait til next year. Thanks for watching and Hopefully, I can complete the final bottling syrup video next March/April.
