I wondered a few years ago if child prodigy solo drummer Kanade Sato could shine in a band setting, and wow!, did she ever answer that question. So in the pocket with her wonderful sense of rhythm, and her hits and fills are exquisite. Great music, great band. New subscriber here.

True to the song here but her own stamp. Awesomeness. Finesse and power. That beautiful Pearl kit with the tom rack reminds me when i saw steely dan with the great Dennis Chambers and they opened with aja. Dennis of course did a wonderful job with it but made it uniquely Dennis. Peace everyone. Long live the steely dan.
Masterfully done!! I do love this version of Feel The Night by Lee Ritenour....The drumming is par excellent and quite smooth, in the pocket, tight!!! The keyboard playing and synth sounds are so on point as well as Rie's guitar playing and of course Juna's Bass playing is always on point!!

my brother a R&B funk drummer would go to japan in the 70s would tell me bands over there were smashing R&B and the clubs then. 50years later i see for myself these girls are very funky
Everything is extremely good. I've had Rit's Feel The Night album since it was first released and listened to this track 100s of times. This is a praise worthy cover of a classic track. Tops marks to the drummer who plays this so well and apparently effortlessly.
A masterful ensemble production showcasing Ms. Suzako on guitar, and demonstrating what a band can produce when superb musicians get together and support each other. The setup is strong while leaving plenty of room to build. Ensemble members set the groove for the melodic introduction by Ms. Suzako. Ms. Serita on bass and Ms. Sato are lock step with each other, providing the supporting foundation for all. Melodic keyboard snips by Ms. Fukai provide playful hints while sustaining the beat. At 5:14, Ms. Serita provides the lead on the bouncing chord progression, and a smile by Ms. Sato on drums confirms that the performance is approaching the sublime as Ms. Suzako's final fiery solo work kicks in. Mixing is superb. The video doesn't contain fancy theatrics, lighting, or dancing and none needed. Well done Muses!
You ladies are very blessed and talented by God! I enjoyed watching and listening to your performance. I have been a drummer and all around musician for 55 years, so I understand good talent.
I'm not into reaction videos, but I'd actually like to see Lee Ritenour's reaction to this. Someone should send them some stuff by Canadian fusion band Uzeb. I can imagine Muses doing a cover of "60, rue des Lombards."

本当に時代は移り変わったんだなあ(笑)｡でも ”きっかけ” は親御さんの影響なのでしょうね･･･きっと｡
自分も『クロスオーバー(ﾌｭｰｼﾞｮﾝ)』という音楽を若干 ”15歳” で聴き始めたその ”きっかけ” は､
”10歳年上の兄” の持っていた『リー･リトナー』&『ラリー･カールトン』そして､
『クルセイダーズ』&『スタッフ』等の ｢LP｣ だったからww｡
でもこういった ”若い世代の｢ミュージシャン｣” が『クロスオーバー(ﾌｭｰｼﾞｮﾝ)』という音楽を奏で､
伝えて聴かせてくれるという事は ”手放し” で嬉しくなりますね｡ これからも続けてほしいです｡
でもやっぱり自分は男だから ”男性陣” にも､もっと頑張ってくれよー･･･と言いたくなりますが(笑)｡

Rie a.k.a. Suzakuが使っているギターは、Jacksonというメーカーの、ランディVというギターです。大きさも形も音も全く違います。
