Hearts of Stone by far the most interesting piece of gaming ever created, and its a couple hour long dlc

The whole DLC is based off a polish legend, about a guy named Twardowsky. A dude who made deal with the devil and got superpowers. The drill was, the devil would take him to hell if he ever visited Rome. Twardowsky avoided Rome, but devil met him in a bar. Bar named "Rome" so the dude started praying and devil threw him to the moon. Also there is a quote that Olgierd screams during fight with him: "You do not strike, sir! You flail!" It's a refference to old polish book "The Deluge" where a character used theese words to mock his enemy. Nothing to do with the DLC story, just a neat easter egg.
Fun Fact Fizhy : if you extinguish the candles on the circle at the professors house you'll hear a sound which seems like a demon leaving.

It has been 5 years and a lot of very bad, bad, ok, and good games have been released.
Not many masterpieces though.
I would say masterpieces are the 1% of videogames.

The atmosphere in this dlc is so intense! The bit where you explore the Von Everec estate is a legitimate masterpiece
My dream is for a G.O.D encounter in cyberpunk 2077 where you hear children signing his song that lead you to a dark area where he restrains you and instead of talking to V he stares you dead in the eye and addresses you, the player while V is completely oblivious to what’s going on
Because we know Ciri and Avalach was capable of jumping dimensions I’m sure G.O.D would also be capable of doing so
I hardly believe that there is going to be anything substantial about Ciri and Avalch or even O'dimm in Cyberpunk2077, maybe at the very best an Easteregg of some sort

I'm a huge fan of supernatural and horror stories and folklore, as soon as he said we will meet at the crossroads I knew what we are dealing with and that shit is going down. chills.. what an awesome dlc...
Fun fact if you play gwent (the actual card game) o dimm is actually responsible from that of the usurper turning to killing emhyrs father (fergus van emreis) and partly responsible for ciris birth... Not canon btw but a nice little insight that o dimm is actually responsible for everything that happens in the witcher world

After Hearts of Stone CD Projekt Red show little more about Gaunter influace of the witcher world in Gwent expansion call "Master of Mirror". It was he who shaped the fate of the Nilfgaard Empire and led to the birth of Ciri.
well, his theme is pretty awesome. The right combination of creepy and atmospheric.
Because Gaunter knew where Yennefer was, his “I’m not omniscient” lie and because he disappeared makes me think they had the DLC planned since the beginning, which makes them the GOATs 😂

This game made such a good job at impersonating Gaunter o dimm as evil incarnate that , ever since I played it i think of him whenever someone fells me to think of the devil

I beat the toad boss on Death March on second attempt but holy shit the fight took like 30 mins and a lot of food.
For me, food was meaningless. It was a one-hit KO fight on Death March, even with Quen active.
