We were one third of the way in before Oscar even reacted to Ruby. In that time, his thoughts were on James, with the exception of a moment for Robyn and that crossover event. We were just over halfway through before the focus finally turned to Ruby, only to come back to James at the two thirds mark!
Maybe what Oscar thinks of thinking of Ironwood is that he'd prefer to think of Ruby? :D
I love how Oscar on screen has like, -10 sassiness, but then his thoughts are like +300 sass. XD

The two dislikes are from both Ozpin and Salem. Ozpin disliked it because he’s been portrayed as a liar on the road to hell. Salem disliked it because she just can and is evil, or in short, out of spite.

4:00 Well considering that he is around 14 (RWBY wiki) she around 17 (RWBY wiki) that's not even older love interest... that's quite illegal love interest in most of the "modern world" if i'm not wrong (what i know in most of countries that's 16 but not in all, at least in japan is a bit lower).
Nope. I remeber reading that its illegal if its more than a 4 years gap. If Ruby turns 17 and a few months later Oscar turns 15, this isn't that much of gap, it cant even be called a 3y gap (id say 2 and a half os smth). Rwby wiki says hes 15 (Approx. Volumes 7-8). Its almost like a sophomore dating a senior. And they also met before ruby turned 18 so it's nothing wrong with the age gap.
