Ur doing amazing! also I have a tip for you, Play daily to get prizes and gems and I recommend saving 100k+ gems for gacha to get good characters but also don’t spend a lot of gems and don’t spend real money it’s not worth it.
You already have some good foundations in your play style, but if its okay, I just want to give some advice to help a bit! If you're looking for some tips to improve, the first thing I suggest is increasing your note speed. It takes a while to find something comfortable so just play around with it a bit! 2: If you're not focused on farming for specific cards/characters, I suggest pulling for cards that have perfect lock skills (basically skills that help your notes change from bads/goods to greats or perfects! If you can't get those 4 stars yet, I suggest leveling up your 2 star and 3 star cards with that skill! 3: I think at some point you can do challenge shows. So as long as you use one energy drink you can practice! 4: The last thing is turning off the mvs, especially if it distracts you! Those mvs can also give your device some lag, which affects your playing ! All in all, I hope you enjoy playing the game! As a beginner, the thing I placed importance on was just enjoying the game, then I gradually improved as time went on!
some tips i guess? take them with a grain of salt I've only been playing 2 months I still feel like a baby 1. okay the speed thing's been beaten to death repeatedly I don't think one size fits all on speed is quite right. i think a good tip is that you should turn on your late/early indicators. go to options > show and then scroll down until you see late/early/wrong way. turn that on. in general, if you're getting a significantly larger number of early than late, you should turn your speed up, and other way around too (do multiple songs and decide from that, there are certain songs you'll do more late or more early). you'll find a sweet spot where you're hitting less early/late. also being a newbie is okay and not being able to go super fast is okay. i don't think one size fits all on speed, 10 may not be right for everyone. i know if I played at 10 speed right away I would have rage quit this game lol just find what's right for you individually! 2. if you're trying a harder difficulty or struggling to get off your feet on the current one or whatever case, try Goodbye! It's a really easy song, like ignore the level number it's always one of the easiest in each difficulty. good starting point if you can't do any others 3. you're doing great and don't let other people tell you otherwise. being a newbie in a community so saturated with complete pros who can AP EVERYTHING is hard!! and I know because I also experienced that 😭 you'll find yourself improving fast. don't be scared to push yourself a little, go play with other people, and talk to others about your game. trust me, when everyone else sees a new player they're not laughing at you, they're cheering for you on the other side of that screen. keep practicing, I'm cheering for you.
you're doing pretty good for a beginner! i would reccomend changing the speed to 10.5+ because then the notes arent so close together, and turn on late/early/flick. do one show with late/early/flick and if you have more lates reduce your timing/offset in the setings by 0.1, but if you have more early then add on to the timing by 0.1 and keep doing this over time while also changing the speed every few shows to find out which is the best for you!!
You're doing pretty good, always remember to sometimes challenge yourself, find some songs that are only partially out of your skill level, getting good at those will eventually result in getting better at the game, and this will not be an overnight success, I've been playing for 4 months and I still call myself quite average at the game knowing I have full comboed a few 20+ levels. When i first started,i could barely fc normal songs,now i can easily full combo 25+ songs,24/23s first try!im working towards full comboing vampires pathOs right now (27) and brain fluid explosion girl (28)i started two months ago by the way also a tip is increase your note speed!8-10 works for me personally,i started at 8 now i play at 10.3
But yeah when i started i couldnt even play in normal now i fc hatsune creation myth and (any number below) - 28 songs i've been playing for 4 months ish :3
