The Splitter cable does not have a buffer and does not allow two guitars to be used independently at the same time. With this upgrade it is also possible to use a synth sound on the GK3 and, for example, a distorted sound on the aux input at the same time.
I don't understand this "upgrade". Everything you are showing can be done with the stock GR55 and a $5.00 splitter cable.
Does the splitter buffer the guitar signal?

@@Folkaloca Right. I can have two guitars plugged in now.
Worked for me with just a splitter cable.
@@ClearVisProductions Cool! But can you hook up two guitars?
