    Excellent tutorial! Your capes look so much better than the vinyl ones. Inspiring stuff; will keep an eye out for more Retro Mandos!

    Awesome job and such a simple but clever solution for the gun attaching to the cape!!! Hasbro should have done that for their Season2 Mando retro figure!!! Well done! And notice your R2D2’s in the back - did you ever paint his dome with that mirror paint and if so do you have a video or website showing the result? Would love to see it, have a couple old ones I’d love to restore (and my 1pm year old self would have loved a solution as my R2 and 3PO vac metal always rubbed off, probably because I played with them so much!). Great vid!

    This is what I’ll do when/if I get a Mando figure. Keep up the good work.
    Btw, I don’t know if you take suggestions for customs, but could you do these customs listed below?
    1. Darth Vader with a removable helmet, removable hand and arms to hold the clip-in version of the lightsaber
    2. Bespin Luke Skywalker: all beaten up and bloody with a removable hand
    3. Boba Fett with a more screen accurate jet pack
    4. Mara Jade Skywalker
    5. Trim and paint decals for the vehicles (if you want to do vehicles)
    6. Any Star Wars figures that could work with vintage G.I. Joe limbs (mainly arms, though if you could get the legs on them that be cool)

    Love it! You are very clever. You must spend a bomb on figures 😀

    Can retro collection figures be boil and popped and easily added to vintage figures?

      Yes they can, but be very careful not to over heat them as the bodies warp!

    Very nice! How did you make Gideon's two-color cape?

    • @TrashCompactor
      @TrashCompactor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought some Double-sided fabric ages ago and had it in my fabric pile, never knew it would come in handy :-)

      @@TrashCompactor Awesome! I have three action figures that need black/red capes. I didn't know they made two-colored fabric like that!

    What Brand of paint and Brushes you use

    • @TrashCompactor
      @TrashCompactor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi standard acrylics and culture hustle mirror paint, for brushes any that are soft and clean :-) I don’t buy expensive brushes usually multipacks on Amazon :-) beware hair loss on some brushes!!

    Do you make your own sculpting Tools

    Except if you swap the silver paint for silver leaf you get a much better result.

      Yeah there’s lots of options I just like mirror paint :-)
