Impressive model from Maisto! Another manufacturer who made the CLK GTR in 1:18 is GT Spirit, they made both the coupe and the Roadster. But as a GT Spirit, they are of course sealed, so no openable engine bay, but it does have much better details on exterior and interior.

I love this car I actually just picked up this same model along with a UT models 993 911 gt1 in plain white. My favorite Mercedes is probably the 722 gt I was able to get a 1:18 resin model of it from gt spirit for only about 80$
I am remembering when this racing car came out - the first time a modern racing car like this had a star on top of the hood. This model is definately one that I still want to get. It's called to be one of the best if not even being the best model that Maisto ever made. And I can clearly see why it is told like this. Reall an amazing Maisto model.
