This mod scenario inspired me to write a timeline where a branch of the Palaiologos family survives up to 1832 within the U.S.A. and gets restored to the throne of Greece.
Great video! I am also intending to do something like that in the future, thought Elysium will also focus in Europe as well. *Since I already stole some of your ideas for my alternative Byzantine Empire, I hope you dont mind that i might steal some from this as well*

Byzantines /Eastern , identified as greek orthodox descendants of the Roman empire not latin though , greek citizens of Constantinople are still named Romioi and greek culture is also sometimes named romiosini but it was and is totally greek not latin
I think they may be likely to have been intervening against ottomans in any wars to eventually reclaim their home in some way, as well as supporting independence movements inside ottoman empire, most notably Greeks.

In this scenario, what has happened to the areas that still had Greeks? (Mainland Greece, Cyprus, Asia Minor, Costantinople etc.)
Same as irl, ottomans likely conquered them and did historical policies because only a few thousand (or more) was brought on the journey

C'est connu ça
Je sais, c'est juste pour préciser, un romain du XVe s. n'a plus grand chose à voir avec un romain du Ier s.

yes, this is the case in the mod, it is a possibility. But I didn't want to make the alternate story even more unrealistic.
That would be stupid. By that point, 300 years pass and the people of Elysia no longer hold any attachment for the old city.
