I agree totally but it was a different time we lived in. Not sure if better or not. As the old saying goes " ignorance is bliss". Too bad we can't have actual factual news shows and then other programming. When Reagan shut down the FCC ruling that news channels had to provide truthful news instead of Fox Entertainment bs. Reagan also helped Rupert Murdoch get his US citizenship so he could start the Conservative/Republican/rich Oligarchs " news channel" to spread their propaganda. So much of today's problems goback to the Reagan Administration such as military hardware spending and trickle down economics that made the rich extremely richer faster and as we've seen the rich have so many tax loopholes that they don't pay taxes. I on the other hand paid 36 cents out of every dollar I made and my best year was 365 straight 12 hour days. I made 145,000 and never saw much of a tax refund.
BIG TIME understatement. Though the late, great Robin Williams routinely would invoke Jonathan Winters and called him "The King" as few, if any, could tell a funny story like Jonathan. May sound cliche, but the saying THEY DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THAT ANYMORE sure does apply to Jonathan Winters.

This never gets old. This guy is so funny and quirky he tells the greatest stories , I've seen every appearance he made and laugh my ass off. I've seen them several times and one of the funniest is the story about Christmas at his house and having chickens on his 2 acres of property. His comedy is like that of a mad scientist , you never knew where he was going! A classic comedian , along with Rickles and Dangerfield. His roast of Frank Sinatra is also hilarious!
