    I would love to see a "making of" video about how these incredible and inspiring animations are put together, how long it takes, all the people involved.

      Totally. I believe in evolution, but how stuff like this just “evolved” seems unbelievable.

      @Karl it all started billions of years ago, when a bacteria acumulated some mutations to use the energy of glucose, then a bigger cell absorbed it without digesting. Since this unique moment in earth's history, the bacteria is evolving better and better ways to use the glucose more efficiently without worrying about surviving on its own.

    To anyone who would argue we are an "intelligent design" I would ask them why the process of converting food is so complex. If god was all powerful he could have made physics where cells could convert glucose directly into ATP using a single enzyme. We also wouldn't have blind spots or a laryngeal nerve that goes from the brain, weaves between a heart valve, and makes a round trip back to the throat, but that's a whole other can of worms.

    • @thenasadude6878

      If God is all powerful, this might have been the simplest idea he could come up with in a finite time when he begun creation. For an eternal being, fiddling with time sensitive stuff might be a bit of a challenge after all.
      Intelligent or not, molecular biology remains a very fascinating subject

      It says “….gaining 2 ATP molecules in the process…” 4-2=2 that means that at each iteration the reaction double the ATP quantity

    • @regulate.artificer_g23.mdctlsk
      @regulate.artificer_g23.mdctlsk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes it does generate 4 ATP, but 2 ATP were initially consumed, so the net gain overall is just 2.
