what I think is great about this show, i show the actors pull off their characters really well. even if appearances aren't 100%, they're dang close. and they do a good job staying true to the series.
Heres a small detail I imagine will be complicated to deal with... Busoshoku haki tends to be represented by darkened skin, but doing so in live action could be taken a somewhat different way... it'll be interesting to see how they tackle this given we are moving through the plot so quickly.

Making a 1/2 season cancellation show (especially cliff hanger) basically makes the series dead weight for the service. Pretty much every show they do (minus proper limited series like Queen's Gambit) should be given proper endings, lately I haven't been bothering with a lot of season 1 shows because of this but with 1 piece, looking at reviews, I couldn't wait until season 2 ;)

He killed more people on screen in this short time than every other character combined.............and did so by a LOT! The fact that even this short Krieg bit was brilliantly casted is crazy.

And Mihawk killed them all except for one ship that got away barely. He chased them from the Grand Line back into the east blue where he proceeded to slice kriegs final ship in half. All bc he they were dumb enough to wake him up from a nap. And in the LA he just flat out killed them all.
love how this scene implies that him and Garp have some form of relationship going, whether it be professional or friendship built on respect. either way i love it.
You know what would be pretty cool? If for the wanted posters, they used their anime illustration. Like the guy who makes the wanted posters was really into anime.

Haki is supposed to be invisible, I think the darkened skin is more an indication of when someone is using it than anything else.
