Glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching. Btw, the OJA has some disc cutting tool videos that can show you how to make your own washers. 😀

I love your videos. The only question I have is this: When you drill, you don't have clean holes... How do you clean your holes so they are smooth? Thanks...

Hi Debra, I think you are referring to the bur that is left on the edge of a hole after drilling. The simplest way to remove that bur is to take a drill bit larger than the hole you drilled and use it to scrape off the bur by hand. This technique is demonstrated by Prof. Jennifer Monroe in the OJA's video on riveting. You can find the video in the OJA's playlist on its website at: www.onlinejewelryacademy.com

Great tutorial. This would make a pretty pendant too.
Feel like I could master the techniques with ease after learning from you.
Please share what size drill bit did you use?
    Thanks so much.

Hi Michelle, I honestly don't recall the exact size of the drill bit used in the video. Just use one that will create a hole large enough for the jump ring to move freely. If you measure your wire and then measure the base of your drill bits, I'm sure you can easily find one that will work. Good luck with your projects.
