✅Does Lucid have a factory?
CNBC recently got a tour of Lucid Motors' new factory in Casa Grande, Arizona, where it will build its luxury electric sedan, the Air. The first phase of the facility was completed in November, about a year after breaking ground. Lucid is building “release candidates” of the Air as it prepares for full production.
✅Where are lucid cars manufactured?
In December of 2019, Lucid broke ground on a factory in Casa Grande, Arizona, the first greenfield facility for EV manufacturing in the United States. On December 1, 2020, Lucid completed factory construction, dubbed AMP-1, and "aims to ramp up to 400,000 electric cars per year."

The company's first car, the Lucid Air, is a state-of-the-art luxury sedan with a California-inspired design underpinned by race-proven technology. Featuring luxurious interior space in a mid-size exterior footprint, the Air will be capable of an estimated EPA range of over 500 miles and 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds.

Wow! I recently started investing in Lucid after a few dips below $22 per share, very exciting & happy times! (I also started investing in Nikola about a year ago, both Lucid & Nikola new factories are near where I live just NW of Casa Grande, AZ. and it's exciting & fun to drive my car or ATV out there and see these two new factories right in front at ground level, it gives a new scale & more real perspective beyond Bear's Workshop ongoing awesome aerial drone video's he does on both Nikola & Lucid every 2 or 3 days.

First class engineering and beautiful cars way out of y reach, but I sincerely hope they make long term it as a viable enterprise..the more EVs around the better.
I can see myself working here with my past experience as a Copy Machine technician, Nuclear instrumentation technician, E-bus technician and current position as a Marine electrician. Maybe it's time for me to leave the shipyard, so I won't have to climb up and down ladders on submarines and aircraft carriers - everything is right there within reach and I love tech., work.

Well production in Casa Grande factory in Arizona started in October 30, 2021... So just wait for couple more months to buy that car...
I keep looking for a production line. All I see are some chassis being built by hand. That's cute for a Rolls Royce but that won't help in the fast-moving world of EVs. I get everyone has to start somewhere but please stop calling it "production". That's not a production line. Not yet..

Lucid Group, Inc. is an American electric vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Newark, California.
When is the Lucid 'Lite' edition coming, the one that would be in the following price range 25,000 to 35,000 USD, a bit like the Ford model T in the beginning of twentieth century! The car should be smaller too. Not everybody needs a limousine! The car should retain the same body/chassis styling. No fancy roof tops made with glass required. Targeting the luxury segment will not help the Automotive industry transition into EV, this segment is already over crowded!
@jomax clux The market demand of ICE luxury is what in terms of percentage of the overall ICE sales? What you are saying is only people who can afford luxury EV cars should be the ones to transition to EV!

He can do ok ,,,BUT . Those seats have to be S class Mercedes and not NOT E class, S CLASS SEATS ONLY, Tesla of course is important to be their too as he start this and is important, the other car companies didn’t bother & only thieving off Tesla

I am open minded, I own Lucid shares with a current unrealized profit, but my mainstay remains Tesla. I just feel Tesla will be the King of EV's for all time and unseating them will not happen. Every other EV maker will simply follow Tesla's lead.
Now I can see why it's taking them so long to build these cars. Hilarious.

Lucid production line is hardly a fast one and so small.. They are doing like 20 at a time. They will hardly reach 1000 a week.

@@pabloaguila6344 My issue is with how car bodies are assembled with shit spot welds with panels upon panels, where dirt and moisture collects and breaks down the metal faster than most of the other components wear out. I literally was talking about rust in my original post and you missed that?
