Incredible production quality Jason, I'm hooked! Regarding Lucid what a out of the box phenomenal achievement. Is this the renaissance of American automotive manufacturing?
It feels that way. If Tesla, Lucid, and Rivian all succeed in the long run this will be the most significant era in the American car industry in 100 years. Just need Cadillac to finally fulfill its potential, and Lincoln to keep up the mini renaissance it’s been going through, and we will have a spate of highly attractive higher end domestic options for the first time in my life.
This needs ten times the views it has, feels as if I'm watching Top Gear again, the track test is just pure bliss, the sound design, the imposition, the shot selection, all sublime. Thank you all for this.
WHAT!? When did car reviews become this insanely high quality!? This video is insane! Hollywood level! AAA!
Mind blown 🤯
Couldn't care less about Lucid Air, but i just had to watch the entire video.
Yeah, yeah, movie...but what about the car?
I couldn't agree more...I love what I am seeing
Me too
I'm watching it a second time just because the cinematography
When you get paid well to advertise this happens haha
You have obviously never watched a video from SavageGeese
I’ve been on TH-cam for 13 years without leaving a comment. Watching this was like having the cinematic experience of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator. Amazing work Anthony!
This has to be THE BEST, automotive review and information video I have watched in a very long time. Well done team!
I caught myself smiling throughout this entire video. And the special appearance from the TH guys was the cherry on top. Jason and Hagerty have outdone themselves, again.
This is production that deserves viewers and more.. keep doing what you do best Jason.. congrats to The Hagerty team and the whole production team
Cammisa and this video crew cannot be touched right now. Unbelievable work.
The cinematic video editing... The Throttle House cameo... The thoughtful subtitles... Yep you've got a new subscriber!
This is perfection. The script, cinematography, audio, pacing, editing, VFX... it is flawless. Congratulations to everyone involved, I can't believe this content is free.
ICONS drops yet another masterpiece of a video. I can't thank Hagerty enough for giving Cammisa & Esposito a chance to bless us enthusiasts with content.
Rivian Icons video next?
This video is a Masterpiece!
I think part of what makes this video so good is that while primarily promoting the Lucid Air, you also give credit to the highlights of the other cars instead of mocking their flaws. Gives an impression of a more objective approach, which is great.
Great to see the Throttle House collab. Boys made it big, you deserve it!
The production quality of this review is phenomenal. Kudos to all in front and behind the cameras including post production personnel. You guys hit a grand slam with this one! Awesome collaboration/cameo with Throttle House too.
LOL the Throttle House cameo... I did a massive spit take... wow. Jason, Thomas, and James together... what a (hilarious) treat.
They have a video together if you haven't seen. Its the Shelby GT 500 video.
@@riduculous yes loved that one, them 3 + Randy is such a treat
Hagerty is putting out some of the best produced automotive content ever. Love watching Jason
Amazingly well done!!!!!
Yeah. Jason and team are putting out the best automotive content IMO.
ITS NOT A TESLA 2.0 ... THUMBS DOWN ON THE VIDEO
ALSO REPORTED FOR MISLEADING TITLE
And you would know! 😁
@@user-ct1lf3hf1v You must be a Tesla fanboy or a stockholder I imagine. 🤣
This is I think the most stunning and artistically put together car reviews I've ever seen! Adam Sandler just raised the bar.
And to see my other 2 favorite Throttle House reviewers .. that was icing on the cake!!
Well done!!
Yeah, when I saw the Throttle House guys, I flipped out. Stunning video.
Thomas, James and Jason is the best combination the automotive world could wish for.
Much love guys 🥰
this video is literally above perfection i tell you. i am so happy to see this video.
Wow. Every single episode of the ICONS is a step ahead and becomes my benchmark for the best car video I've ever seen. But this isn't just one-step further, this is a walk ahead. Incredible cinematography, story telling, and content. One can only aspire to achieve a fraction of this quality in their own content. Great job!
Another masterpiece. Congratulations to Jason, Anthony, and the rest of the crew. Please @Hagerty, keep these coming.
Wow. Just wow. Jason, you and your production team are the best in the biz. The quick drifting shots of the Lucid and Rivian together are epic cinematic magic.
The team behind these videos is so talented it leaves me with chills!
Literally got chills as I read this comment as I was just at the end.. what a awesome treat this was
Incredible production quality Jason, I'm hooked! Regarding Lucid what a out of the box phenomenal achievement. Is this the renaissance of American automotive manufacturing?
The 2010s were
It feels that way.
@Jason Cammisa The red tailed hawks of this great nation scream with approval.
Unlimited budget for production just use every possible way to get people on board
This needs ten times the views it has, feels as if I'm watching Top Gear again, the track test is just pure bliss, the sound design, the imposition, the shot selection, all sublime. I keep going back 12:43 and watching from there over and over again, I'm less excited about the car and more excited about what I'll get to see from Jason and Anthony.
I disagree. This is just 20min commercial for Lucid
I used to install large motors and pumps in my electrician past life, I know how heavy they can be. Watching him casually walk around with that in his arms might be the biggest mind F of this video for me. Absolutely amazing.
That got my attention too, I knew it was compact but had no idea that it would be that light.
Pure engineering genius, Elon may struggle to top that, even with his carbon fibre wrapped Plaid whatever.
Wasn't that the drive and motor combo? I was thinking the same.
@@sufficetosay Yeh I'm sure it was the whole thing, though perhaps minus the WunderBox Inverter & BMS (which wouldn't weigh much in comparison).
It might've been a lighter demo mockup of the motor with all the same dimensions, made specifically for things like this.
@@waterdrinkingexpert6797 I was thinking that too.
Can we all just appreciate the cinematography, the editing, the color palette the framing just everything and then the content
Jebus Christ Hagerty 🥵
Thank you for uploading these in true 21:9! Looks stunning on Ultrawide displays!
Indeed!
Seconded, keep doing this guys! Amazing stuf 😃
That's why i don't have black bars on my Experia, I was wondering
thirded. it's super cash
What is the difference between true 21:9 and non-true 21:9 ?
WATCH WITH CAPTIONS!!!
I recently had to turn on captions on one of their videos as I was in a noisy environment and was laughing my ass off at the comments that pop up burning Jason. Positively surprised I now watch every video with CAPTIONS 😂
Same here 😂
10:50 is great!
So happy to see Watch Geek on here!

This has to be the BEST work you've ever done, Jason! Amazing camera work and editing. And the cameo from Thomas and James was a piece of brilliance! You all make a great trio! CONGRATS!!!
The whole Hagerty team is a cut above. Incredible video

You guys have seriously found the most perfect production team and content creator (Jason) for this gig... Aboslutely love the video and its production value. Amazing. Videos like these are what provoke the feelings and what get people to want to buy a car.
This is actually worth watching with the subtitles on - they're hilarious! Another amazingly done video, and the Throttle House guys made it that much better!
I was afraid that Jason had left Hagerty so I ended up watching all of his old videos at all other channels. Jason's personality is lucid gold 🔥
Did you just propose to Jason? 😍?
Every time Jason Cammisa.
The writing, the cinematography, the cameos, the overall content.
Every damn time it is SO damn good.
This video is what convinced me to test drive a Lucid in our search for a new car. I test drove nearly 10 cars and I took delivery of a Lucid Air Pure this past Saturday. So now I guess you can say that this video led me to buy a Lucid.
This is possibly the best video production on any car review I've ever seen. Simply stunning.
Man everyone on this show killing it. Incredible production
Great Job. Despite being only 18 minutes long, this video felt like an epic, high-caliber movie I'd go to a cinema for. It seems like the relative lack of engine sounds really let your sound engineers shine. Really really awesome work and thank you for making this great content
[also digging the subtitles]
Just like the lucid air did is its sector, you guys made an amazing work of art by this video. Congratulations!
This has to be one of the best car reviews in the history of car reviews.
Sweet crossover having Throttle House on there 🇨🇦
@Jason Cammisa I'm surprised one of them didn't go on about the air compressor lighter air conditioning weighter less.
@@PerplexedPhoton I wanted to see that snuck in so badly to get the reaction from James lol...
@@PerplexedPhoton Would have been amazing if Jason had the shirt on afterwards.
As a small child once exclaimed, "That was totally wicked!!!"
The addition of Thomas and James was awesome too. I was hoping there would be another pair up with @ThrottleHouse 😁
And the Lucid Air? I wants the precious... With a Rivian on the side 😉
was watching this on my 4k monitor in full screen. once the video was over i exited the fullscreen player and forgot that i was on youtube and not netflix or amazon prime. everything about this video makes you feel connected, like you're there.
The production level for a car review is astounding! Can't believe you guys just let us watch this for free. And with Jason Camisa completing the package, its just hard to ever think of somebody that could replace him.
I thought I was watching an intro for a Hollywood film. Jason, Anthony and team keep besting themselves with each episode. Never Stop Producing!!!
Fr, the production quality is DOPE
Jason, your ICONS reviews are iconic! Easily the most interesting, thought provoking and entertaining auto reviews I have seen. As Tina Turner would sing, “You’re simply the best!”
I cant believe this is free! This is a frickin movie not a TH-cam video and I LOVE it! Now I want this car more than anything in the world.
I can’t even take how intensely amazing the quality of this review is both visually and content. Just incredible
Can't help but imagine the three of you running a Top Gear like show. Make it happen!
Thought the same thing! Jason + Thomas and James would be a hell of a show.
The amount of bickering will have me rolling!

I think it’s best TH-cam “car video”.
And definitely best TH-cam “car channel”.
I would go to cinema to watch it!
The tire shred at 15.48 was, I've got to say epic !
These videos deserve so much more views. The production quality of this video is unrivaled. Not even Top Gear comes close to that. Great job
Happy to see Jason doing these type of reviews again. Brings me back to the good ole days….
Me, too! Thx Hagerty, director Anthony Esposito, and Icons.
@@randypobstofficial wow the LEGEND himself! I never get enough of your content as well 👍✌️

My three favorite motoring journalists, all together in an episode. Just masterpiece!!
I’ve never enjoyed a particular car review in correlation with other competitors being featured like this! Video editing, soundtracks and effects are next level! 👍😎😎😎😎😎

Camissa, James, and Thomas in one video… now you’ve got my attention. 😀 my favorite automotive journalists all in one!
Hands down, one of the best pieces of automotive journalism ! So fun that you got he guys from Throttle House on this one
No, has nothing to do with automotive journalism.... anything with a simple Lucid Air commercial (and some US EV manufacturers promotion).
Do you think the Tesla model S or the Lucid Air car is on the wish list of any car enthousiast, Jason, Thomas, James included?
I absolutely loved this one. Thank you. Thomas and James, the tire exploding, all these elements go such a long way besides just talking about the car. Which was also very well said.
Goosebumps throughout. Amazingly shot, sound mixing and just top notch quality overall in writing and info. This should get an Oscar after slapping me unconscious.
This series deserves way more views than what it currently has.
