I've had that happen several times with groundhogs, if you shoot them while in their hole, they slide down in out of sight.
Should’ve called the game warden or a vet or someone with a little more knowledge of that stuff

This was a really fun vid to watch! I own a Beeman QB78 which is similar to the rifle that you have, the main difference being that it shoots .177 pellets and uses x2 12 gram c02 cartridges. It's also a single shot and can't use magazines, but that only helped me with making every shot count. In my opinion, Beeman makes some pretty good air rifles for the money, especially since the one I got was less than $150, that's including pellets and c02!
Recently, we were driving around town, and I saw a starling. I was like, "Huh?" Then I saw like a ton of them, and I had never ever seen a starling until now. I just recently moved to a new house and saw **70 starlings** on a power line out in our field. So, they have officially invaded my part of North Carolina.

6:00 I had that with a lot of cheaper PCP rifles, all that happen to look somewhat like yours like the Artemis PP700, PP750 & PP800, the PP750 is fun for the price, great little pistol carbine, not that powerful out of the box in .177 though.
In Australia, you can’t think twice about shooting a fox day that big is a pest,

You are a true observer for air rifles and you prove it because you prove it by burning the boxes but I got a few of your break barrels you had and I can confirm because I still use them for hunting
You made the right call on not dispatching the Fox. I'm sure it's going to be ok and heal up.
Bud IMO you will be hard pressed to find a better air rifle for the money than the Snow peak M60/Umarex Zelos B or T in .22 or .25 cal for the money. Basically an FX Impact without the price. The JTS and Avengers are up there also but IMO if you want a keeper then there it is. I have an LCS"s in .22 and .25, but the company seems to have went under but still hard to beat but they cost me each 2350$. I love a hammerless system for ease of tune and unbelievable accuracy especially being semi/full auto but now the Sidewinder,Huben, and Rattler are out there tearing it up. Still bang for buck Notos, Zelos, and Avenger are very hard to beat. They are all regulated as well. Hope this helps. Love your videos, and I also love the Notos. Killer hunting PCP out to 60 yards with the cheap Crosman HPs. I have taken over 9 crows to date with this little hunter out to 60 yards with 1 shot each. UTG 3-12X44 Accushot scope for like 90$. great little PCP and so darn quiet!!!

looked like the fox was limping, but keeping it alive because of pups, gives you more of a chance later, but less chickens in the area...when they go hunting, ;-)
Man, all year it's been so windy, and I hate it so much .At **100 yards**, my JTS Airacuda Max was making about an inch group to two-inch groups at 100 yards and at 50 it was half inch groups. I hit multiple times a 2-inch target at **130 yards** with wind. Airguns are getting really good for little money.

It might be a spine injury making the leg weak. They can heal if they get some rest. I would have let the fox go. I have seen a 3 legged fox survive for years out in the fields of my ranch. It was also taking care of pups in a den. The one I saw was definitely a birth defect. The fact it survived is insane because the mother will usually abandon the weak or deformed pup and sometimes kill it and eat it. They are resilient creatures. I would hunt other foxes but would let her be.

Great video. That fox looks like he will be fine but if you had chickens you would have taken care of him after the camera was off. I have been losing some of my free range chickens to fox.

I dont have an fx rifle but i do have some nice .25 cal rifles .did you tune the .25? for more heavy pellets?No offence etc afcoarse but just a question ..about the fox ..i did what you did...she can still feed cups.if it is a she .thumb's up for the fox thing.
Fox are small game and turkey predators. If it was me I want more small game and turkeys on my farm/ hunting property. Plus I don't want any type of predators messing with my chicken flock or turkey flock. With that being said dead fox for sure

What does season the barrel for a certain type of pellet mean
Shooting that type of pellet a few times before accuracy testing so the barrel has a coating of the same type of lead.

I have a backwards question. I use a Diana Chaser CO2 pistol to "convince" pigeons to stay off my roof. What are the slowest pellets? Specifically pellets that slow down the quickest? If I miss a pigeon on my roof (10-20 yds) the pellet continues an unknown distance. What I would like to find is a pellet formed like a badminton shuttle. Quick for a little bit, then slows dramatically. Is there such a thing?

I think you did the right thing with that fox it looked like it was just one leg that was injured so he should be able to make it and like you said all animals are tuff.

It’s self explanatory😂 but just go get a gun of your choice (not an overkill gun) and go find sparrows they usually hang around fields on power lines.
