I grew up Catholic believed in God yet still ended up struggling with pornography promiscuity sexual perversion. I was on the street had sex for food. I went to church met believers on the street. Learned more and more about the Bible learned I had generational curses in my background and had them broken. These generational sins or curses can also cause stuff like this to happen. This was my first time seeing this film and I cried because this reminded me of my sister. My mom was extremely hard on us to the point where my sister went to a party and saw a guy that she really like. Unfortunately she was not aware that he was a pimp but he made it seem like they were in a relationship until he force her to drop out of high school and to sell her body for money. It took me 4 years to get her away from him and now she is no longer selling her body but she took control of her life. I’m so proud of the women she came to be and I will always be there for my sister no matter what.
That woman in the beginning seen that the electric company was calling to shut off her electric but she asked her for $20 probably to pay her bills you don't give other people money when your stuff going to be shut off and you have kids she's a nice lady but she needed to take care of herself and the house before trying to save the world you don't neglect your kids but regardless I LOVE THESE LIFETIME MOVIES

I’m shocked at her father. How can he be so indifferent and not outraged when his ex-wife is crying 😢 for help about his own daughter who’s going to the streets.
She wasn’t a good mom. Charlie’s grades, her running away, & doing drugs was a reflection of what she deals with at home. I’m glad the mon owned up to not being a good mom and does what she can to fix it. Charlie is a victim.
I can't believe they actually went through and successfully completed the kidnapping. And when her Dad said "why is she still screaming" that was hilarious. The casualness and realness of that comment lol
What has always bothered me about this movie is that the mom was too caught up with social causes and neglects her daughter and then only starts paying her attention when her daughter actually becomes a social issue. Would have liked to see how this would have played out without tv reporters, cameras, etc,, around.
It's nice that it can be a movie to show a few women give a care about their children when it's so many millions that don't that throw their offsprings straight to the street for wolves but one good thing if you've been thrown in the streets God will take care of you everything that goes on God keeps account of it and on the day of judgement those that didn't take you in those that hurt you and made you cry they got a hell of a penalty to pay on a day of judgment so that's what makes it worth it you don't have to explain yourself to anybody your past is your past and whoever can accept it or well do not allow somebody to steal your joy because if they can't help you they have no right to put no judgement on you keep your faith and trust in God many women as mothers and grandparents and fathers can never be trusted because they're full of the devil summer if you had a loving mother and a loving father count your blessings if not God will always take care his own children Happy Thanksgiving to everybody🙋🏼🙋🏻🙋🏽🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃😎😎😎😪😪🤐🤧🤐😪🦃🦃🦃🦃
People saying he loved her are so stupid. If he loved her he would've just given her money and gifts for nothing. She wouldn't have to work for it, DUH!
NOT IS SHOW MUCH SHE WAS IN HER LIFE AN FACT SHE SAY NO BUT ASK AN MATTER FACT SOME THING THINK OF THAT PERSON IF OTHER WAY , NOW A PERSON DRESS REAL GOOD NOT A PIMP SO SAY SEE A PERSON DRESS REAL GOOD HE IS ONE NOW FACE IT GOING TO CLUB DINNER,
She acted like her mom was just horrible. Her mother was concerned about her. She didn’t have to do what she did. She made a very bad decision that she did not have to make.
She felt like she had no other way to make money. She couldn’t graduate because she was always working n taking care of her mom and little brother with Down syndrome. Her mom was neglecting her giving a 20 to a friend when they had tons of bills and appliances ready to be turned off. Then she got sicker. She couldn’t take care of Charlie or her son well. Don’t blame Charlie. She thought she was stupid for not graduating but had no money even though she worked and her only bad habit was being late to classes because of her being the mom to her little brother and cleaning and cooking for her moms friends. When mom fo8nd out she wouldn’t graduate she basically said it’s ok just keep running the household and I’ll figure. Itt….then she ended u p on the hospital. Charlie saw money when she finally gave in. She thought she was never going to make it or ge5 any decent non minimum wage job without a high school diploma and forget college. I see why she did it and just because you supposedly wouldn’t do it doesn’t mean she is a bad kid.
Despite her neglecting her daughter she took action and got her daughter back. Idc this woman is amazing and fearless. Her daughter will Thank her one day
I agree. I felt bad at first for thinking this but it's the truth. I still can't believe she made a "big story" out of her daughter's tragedy. And when she said, "...I don't give a damn about her future...I just want her home." I almost puked. 😤
Sure wish I had a caring momma to save me when I was a kid..it's tough growing up without a mom or a dad even..lost momma at 2, then dad at 9 years old..you's out there with parent(s) guardian be good to them, you may lose them anytime,.
I'm in the same boat as you. It's very very hard. I was in foster care, my mom threw me out into the street while I was still in school and I was a very good student, they didn't give a crap about me...I was pimped out and trafficked, raped, I called and told my mom and she said I should make better choices. Even though growing up they were addicts and I grew up very quickly. So I understand. All I ever wanted was my mom to love me and hold me. It hurts. But my faith is strong. And I have lots of goals and dreams I'm determined to accomplish. ❤❤Hang in there
Good job uploading, Brandy. I could actually SEE it and HEAR it. Definitely worth a sub and a like. John Stamos does a convincing job portraying a pimp in this one. He uses the oldest "tricks" in the book to lure his unsuspecting prey into a life that's almost impossible to get out of. Sadly, many of them never do.
This movie pissed me off to no end. I was physically abused and tased by security guards at a prominent Minneapolis hospital because I demanded to be discharged when a nurse grabbed my face and stuck two fingers down my throat. We are in a time of moral decay where people value wealth and power before before justice and morality. When the police raided the house, I actually had flashbacks of that night last October. Her "pimp" knew all the things to say. And that was so upsetting. I know there are those that have a golden tongue who prey on others that have low self-esteem. What can people do to help those on the streets.
Good movie, shows how easy it is for young girls to get into the wrong crowd. Dads, would you want your daughter out there, with just anyone taking chances of getting killed or aids. We need to always pray for our kids to make good choices in there lives, then it's up to them from there. Love your children people, and tell them, that you love them.
An excellent film. The acting could be a bit hammy, especially with the young lady playing Charley, but the subject-matter was well worth exploring, and the 'happy ending' very uplifting. Bravo!
It doesn't surprise me that Jane Alexander & Roxana Zal are playing mother & daughter in this movie, they played , mother & daughter in the 1983 movie Testament, great movie as well
Parental abuse comes in all forms,.....Alex May says it perfectly, take care of your own children first, if parents took proper care of their children the world just may not need saving.
Oh, wow, I think I saw this one on Lifetime LITERALLY twenty years ago! Watching it again I like it, it's yet another 'WHY, UNCLE JESSE, WHY??!'...I felt really sorry for Joey, especially if what he told Charley happened to him as a kid really DID happen. Nora should've told him she'd talk to the detectives on his behalf and get him the help HE needed too if he really wanted to go right, he could've gone with them on a probation basis:( And boy, I wish Erika Eleniak had gotten to be Charley instead of Jennifer just so the Full House episode where she plays Jesse's old girlfriend is REALLY unsettling:) Plus I like her, she's always fun to watch in the late 80s and early 90s and could really do this kind of role well.
The mom admitted her mistakes.. And that she was wrong..she loves her daughter..and she want's her home.. I know an 18 year girl that just died thinking that a 38 year old man loved her.. Wrong he druged her up with some bad drug... Her name was (Yasmin Garza ).. And her mom not one's true to go out and look for her or bring her home that's sad.. All she wanted was love from her mom.. Because her dad the one she love with all her ♥ died when she was 11 year's old.. She lost her daddy that took care of her sent her to school.. And one day her dad never made it to pick her up one day.. Because he had a heart attack.. And died.. So when her mom got her..she was unhappy sad until she meet my son Christopher.. Ok.. She turned 17her mom didn't want her around my son.. Always putting her down.. Ok.. My son was murdered.. And that's when she just didn't care anymore.. She would always say he will always be my other half. ..her mom didn't do anything nothing to save her from the streets.. From that man that was druging her up nothing.. Didn't put charges on that man nothing .. Just that she was gone and that was it.. No justice.. No arresting that man nothing ..😭
I swear it don't matter how much you are involved or pay attention or tell your child you love them everyday they will do what they want to do especially being 18 which is legally considered an adult. The mother is not to blame, the daughter had her own selfish reasons and the money she made did not help her household so again the daughter was very selfish and knew better because she was warned and told about those things she's doing before she did it. It's a bad feeling when you do and make wrong decisions and the daughter felt it the very first day. I love what the mom had to do just to even see or talk to her again she was lucky to even have a family that cared enough.
I agree!!! So many people blaming the mother. Her mother's only problem was being sick and depending on her daughter more than most mother's. We can't blame the parents for every bad decision. We are who we are and we need to take responsibility for our own choices and learn from them.
I agree. I CAN'T STAND when people place all the blame on the parents. They always say "it starts at home", etc, etc. You can raise your children to be devout Christians, Catholics, etc, etc and they still end up in the streets. Parents are not kids only influence. I know I was DESPERATE to be an adult when I was 16yrs old and had A LOT of stress at home. I'm still happy to be an adult but I remember wanting to be independent and making my own life decisions as a minor.
The daughter didnt turn to tricks because her mother was sick, or that her mother didnt showet her with love, she turned to tricks because there was no money for necessities. Her mother cant work because of her health condition, it doesn't seem that the father contributes in alimony. The correct way in this situation would be for the mother to turn to the courts and requested alimony for herself and the children. And what did the divorce settlement say? Everything could be avoided if the mother did the right thing by suing the pants of the father, bloody hell. Yes, young girls got preyed upon by their own uncertainties, she felt unloved, ugly, no one give attention, many reasons. And pimps can see that immediately. Like satan knows this too, and wins. We as parents have the responsibility to create a safe place for our children, where they don't feel responsible to take care of us. Dont tell me this mother didn't know that. 😮
I remember this movie being on TV. I had forgotten what it was called. I tried finding it on TH-cam before but couldn't find it by topic. Then, it showed up on my suggestions. Very intense movie. So heart-wrenching.
They just don't make movies like this anymore, such vulnerability still exists in teens today, great classic. Thanks for sharing!

Maybe he is just human and stunned.
She wasn’t a good mom. Charlie’s grades, her running away, & doing drugs was a reflection of what she deals with at home. I’m glad the mon owned up to not being a good mom and does what she can to fix it. Charlie is a victim.
Her mom being isn't an excuse for to slack off in school or hang out with a bad crowd. It was Charlie's choice.
Plz bring the old Lifetime back. It would have way more viewers if they played the old shows
Yes u n I lived n same time machine me especially with music old school.
FACTS!
Thanks for the upload; old movie, but turned out to be a gem.
I can't believe they actually went through and successfully completed the kidnapping. And when her Dad said "why is she still screaming" that was hilarious. The casualness and realness of that comment lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Uncle Jessie gone bad.... Lifetime movies suck now... I miss these good old lifetime movies
I'm a Father of 2 daughters and believe me I would do the same I applaud that mother and her family
At 18 she's an adult. So if she wanted to go back into that life, she would.
I know that's right
What has always bothered me about this movie is that the mom was too caught up with social causes and neglects her daughter and then only starts paying her attention when her daughter actually becomes a social issue. Would have liked to see how this would have played out without tv reporters, cameras, etc,, around.
True, but people make mistakes.. She made it right and fought for her daughter all the way!!! That is a real mother, unlike mine!!! JS
I'm so happy this has been uploaded!! I watched it years ago and haven't seen in since. Thankyou uploader! X
Amazing! One of the best movies Ive seen. We should all take a lesson from this on how to FIGHT FOR OUR CHILDREN!
The old lifetime movies were the best man every movie gets better but nothing compares to the older films
This is a really good quality lifetime movie. They do not make lifetime movies like this anymore.
Right 😫🙌🏿
It's nice that it can be a movie to show a few women give a care about their children when it's so many millions that don't that throw their offsprings straight to the street for wolves but one good thing if you've been thrown in the streets God will take care of you everything that goes on God keeps account of it and on the day of judgement those that didn't take you in those that hurt you and made you cry they got a hell of a penalty to pay on a day of judgment so that's what makes it worth it you don't have to explain yourself to anybody your past is your past and whoever can accept it or well do not allow somebody to steal your joy because if they can't help you they have no right to put no judgement on you keep your faith and trust in God many women as mothers and grandparents and fathers can never be trusted because they're full of the devil summer if you had a loving mother and a loving father count your blessings if not God will always take care his own children Happy Thanksgiving to everybody🙋🏼🙋🏻🙋🏽🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃😎😎😎😪😪🤐🤧🤐😪🦃🦃🦃🦃
People saying he loved her are so stupid. If he loved her he would've just given her money and gifts for nothing. She wouldn't have to work for it, DUH!
they are naive to believe he loved her. He loved her for her money-making potential. It's not love.
NOT IS SHOW MUCH SHE WAS IN HER LIFE AN FACT SHE SAY NO BUT ASK AN MATTER FACT SOME THING THINK OF THAT PERSON IF OTHER WAY , NOW A PERSON DRESS REAL GOOD NOT A PIMP SO SAY SEE A PERSON DRESS REAL GOOD HE IS ONE NOW FACE IT GOING TO CLUB DINNER,
Of course he didn't love her, that only shows her need for love and attention and the fact that she doesn't recognize when someone is using her.
@@ivicabrebric8317 because she's a naieve teenager
@It is what it is TUH ALL FACTS! And imo a man can't truly honestly love a woman who he allows other men to use her body as a sex machine!
Great movie. Sad that this type of scenario still happens today.
Right. Unfortunately it always has been and always will be.
She acted like her mom was just horrible. Her mother was concerned about her. She didn’t have to do what she did. She made a very bad decision that she did not have to make.
You’re right but her mom was taking care of everybody else but her and the household so she probably felt like she had to make her own money to help
She was crying out for attention and the devil got in
She felt like she had no other way to make money.
I am definitely proud of you and your accomplishments. Life can be tough but you saw a way out. God bless you, Nija
Despite her neglecting her daughter she took action and got her daughter back. Idc this woman is amazing and fearless. Her daughter will Thank her one day
This movie deserves an applause.. Good movie!
True and great story wel done mum a mother's love never gives up praise God
I think the mother is well meaning but at the same time too full of herself. I’d run away too jeez
I'm so sorry for your loss that is so tuff 😥😥😥 may God bless you
🙏🏻
Sadly, many of them never do.
my heart goes pitter-patter for John Stamos!!! Great movie & thanks for the upload!
Mine too❤
This is what happens when there's no strong family structured and individual faith, to place there worries, sorrow, grievance, hardship, struggles.,
Great movie so happy she made it back home, she's lucky to have a strong mother & family that didn't give up on her.
The daughter also played the mother of Jessica McClure, the baby who fell down the well in the 80's.
Yes. 'Everybody's baby'
This was my life 34 years ago and God got me out of it too
Good movie, shows how easy it is for young girls to get into the wrong crowd. Dads, would you want your daughter out there, with just anyone taking chances of getting killed or aids. We need to always pray for our kids to make good choices in there lives, then it's up to them from there. Love your children people, and tell them, that you love them.
ya
An excellent film. The acting could be a bit hammy, especially with the young lady playing Charley, but the subject-matter was well worth exploring, and the 'happy ending' very uplifting. Bravo!
The mother spoke like the old Hollywood stars from the 40s.
yeppp
She sounded like Joan Crawford
And managed to be exceptionally annoying like a gnat in the process.
Jane Alexander is a decent actress, but the performance of the other characters are so third rate. Sadly, though, the story line occurs too often.
sure does
A man’s favorite line “I need you”. Gone with that bullshit man.
😂😂😂
This the comment👌🏾🤣
This was a Good movie,"with a good ending "Her mom was Brave&assertive,
Mothers are always intuitive and do everything in their power to protect their children.
Unfortunately that is not always the case.
So true! And they don't get the credit they deserve.
The little boy is so darn cute and adorable
So glad the movie ended the way it did. Thanks for the upload! Amazing quality.
It doesn't surprise me that Jane Alexander & Roxana Zal are playing mother & daughter in this movie, they played , mother & daughter in the 1983 movie Testament, great movie as well
The man is selling you for your body. 😢😢😢You think it is love, it isn't. 😢😢Jesus help us choose right.
I love absolutely the mom! She is what you call a " FIGHTER ".
Great story about a brave mom.
She was sick n she went out into those st to bring her daughter home.
Parental abuse comes in all forms,.....Alex May says it perfectly, take care of your own children first, if parents took proper care of their children the world just may not need saving.
Preach!
Agreed
The old lifetime movies are better then the ones they have out now
What good us it if you save the world ,and your daughter ends up like this poor girl .let others save the world LOOK AFTER THE KIDS YOU HAVE
And this movie was very amazing to watch from Sharon to I like watching this movie from Sharon to
That was a beautiful story of real love of a mother
"What any mother with love for her daughter would do;God bless mothers"
Joey playing a pimp!
Great movie, good story line.Thank you for upload.
Even though John Stamos was suppose to be playing an "abusive pimp" in this movie, he still seems like he's in his loving "Uncle Jesse" character.
I can’t see him as a pimp! Lol
Right, soon as I seen him I thought "there go full house!"🤭

This girls disrespect towards her mother was terrible..
That's unfortunate sorry to hear all that.
(((((HUGS))))
I love these old lifetime movies so much.
Fight for your children!!!!!
They are your gift from GOD beautiful ending
I swear it don't matter how much you are involved or pay attention or tell your child you love them everyday they will do what they want to do especially being 18 which is legally considered an adult. The mother is not to blame, the daughter had her own selfish reasons and the money she made did not help her household so again the daughter was very selfish and knew better because she was warned and told about those things she's doing before she did it. It's a bad feeling when you do and make wrong decisions and the daughter felt it the very first day. I love what the mom had to do just to even see or talk to her again she was lucky to even have a family that cared enough.
Her friend already told her she didn't listen to her either
@@amber324 its crazy isn't it? When you're 16 you wanna be grown and then we get grown and wish we were 16 again without all the stress
@@latricecarter1243 yep i agree
Sad,That There are many girls who never get The help they need,
Her brother is so sweet, adorable, amd cute...I pray that my baby girls will not get out and do that...this day in time the world is crazy...
Best line in the whole movie- "I wasn't talking to you, pimp!
The police failed this family in this situation.
I remember this movie being on TV. I had forgotten what it was called. I tried finding it on TH-cam before but couldn't find it by topic. Then, it showed up on my suggestions. Very intense movie. So heart-wrenching.
This movie is so relevant. I’ve seen too many young girls turn to this route .
