Best bolt salesman ever right here. I’ve been back and forth on switching from sport bikes to the bolt or a sportster for a couple years now. My biggest fear has been the performance or lack there of from a cruiser. This completely eliminates the doubts I had. Thank you sir for the video and you earned a subscriber.
@@califliprider449 I went back through your content and noticed the mt10, my most recent was a mt09. Did you sell the mt10 or just the get bolt in addition to? If so do you ever miss the sporty feel of the mt?
as a new rider waiting for my Bolt delivery tomorrow---this skill level, on let alone...a switchback, seems light years away--my hands started sweating watching this...lol
Had a guy with a Harley Sportster who used to ride with my group in the NM mountains and he hung in there just fine. I've owned only sportbikes for the last 32 years. I 2020 since I hit my 50's I finally went with an old man's sport bike, an FZ1. I've been wanting to add a sporty cruiser and been debating the Vulcan with an i4 or Bolt but I like the Bolt the best. Suspension plans are Ohlins STX36 shocks and a Andreani fork cartridge kit. It will see at least one trackday to get the suspension dialed in.
Bro how are you making those turns on BOLT? Wouldn't it touch the ground considering clearance it has? I have BOLT and I struggle at turns and lot of the times, foot pegs touch the ground.
If I were to get a cruiser it would probably be a Bolt. Big thing I like about them, mid pegs. Seems like every cruiser out there today has the silly forward control crap. Forward controls rob you of half (or more) of your ability to control the bike, and every bike I've ridden with them, I hated. Some fine riding there! Keep it up, and stay up..🙂
Just picked up my 2019 bolt with 520 miles. I’ve only put six miles on it because it’s been raining in California. But I can’t wait to finish breaking in the bike and let her rip.
I had a bolt that I had all modded, traded it for a Z900rs and now I have a black edition cb1000r but I still miss my bolt and wish I had kept it, it catches some bad flack sometimes but I loved mine.
You can actually hear him scraping a lot (not his fault, just the way the bolt is), but if you get some 11.5” or 12” shocks it pretty much takes the scraping away unless you’re trying to put your knee down. I put some 11.5s on mine and haven’t scraped since
@@TheDeftCursor what is the factory shock height? Not really trying to take away from the awesome stance the bolt has but also dont want to be scrapping at every other turn

Yeah, I'm also planning on making this my first morotcycle as well, Good luck sir.
Thanks man you won’t regret it. Obviously not a sportbike but doesn’t make it less fun :)

Same. Makes feel better about the idea of trading in my fz07 for a bolt
bro thanks for much this is exactly kind of video i was looking for and this is like the only one 👍🏻😎 beast mode riding man you are killing it
Thanks man
it's way more fun to ride a slower bike fast, than a faster bike slow...facts. Wonderful video and you sold me on the bolt :)

I've had mine for a month now and damn this definitely takes skill. I scrapped once on a turn and said nope lmao
Saaaaame 😆
Feels different after riding a while. Be safe brothers 🙏
Need new foot pegs after all that lol, great riding.
It's not the size of the dog in a fight, but size of the fight in the dog
Top bloke! V2 sounds smooth and the green looks good too
looking at this it ... it handle alot better than a sportster...alot better than i imagined it could, looking smooth too....i want one
That was a freakin rush! Nice going man!
you could push it faster if you got taller suspension lol heard you dragging pegs a LOT which is crazy cause you kept your cool through it all
I own one..mod it out and ride it hard af always.....it's been a great first MC

The ending makes me think you were that one kid who put playing cards in his bicycle spokes

You made me feel bad. I am always scared at blind curve. Great confidence mate. I have same Color bolt.
Being scared at a blind curve is called wisdom.
@@jlrutube1312Yeah, that is what keeps you alive lol. This guy is probably very familiar with this route
I'm in bako and this is how I ride my bolt too

Harley definitely has mid controls on most bikes. Sportster 883, roadster, 1200, Street Bob
And here I am, planning to get a Bolt and my first mod to it will be forward controls lmao
great ride :D
Nice riding area and nice riding! Out west somewhere I am assuming?
I have an 87 honda shadow but we dont have twisties like that in MN but that bike can lean alot further than i can push it

Weird question, but where did you get those gloves? Soo goood!!

The balls on this man.
Best bolt vid ive ever watched! did u raise the pegs somehow ?? find mine scrape with hardly any lean stock

Nope stock pegs. Scrapes at barely any lean haha

@@simplybuilt_1708 it’s 10.5” I believe, when you put 11.5 or 12.5” the bike still looks great, even better imo. Plus all the added benefits
I lost count how many times did he scrape the pegs?
You just need to address the bike's clearance issues and you're all set :D
appreciate paperwork
Bro... what gloves you wearing? I NEED TO KNOW.
sick video dude
Gutdamn 🔥🔥
What exhaust is that? Sounds amazing
The bolt is great cruiser, but I think yamaha should come up with a new design, newer engine
Why
This is bad ass!
I find I’m only held back on entry speeds and touching hard parts. Other than that apex to exit I’m just as fast as my sport bike.
fools enjoying the pleasure before the pain.
What tires do you recommend?
Michelin Commander 2 seems well liked by the sportster community. Loads of grip
Nice riding 👍. Heard the pegs scrape a bit ; ) . What tires were you using in this video?
they scraping the whole ride wtym a bit xD
Your pegs don't drag?
I was thinking the same thing
Tyres?
C Spec? Or R?
I always found it less difficult to lean a cruiser than a sport bike
I have yamaha bolt r spec … let me tell you … he is being nice to you 😄
Dope🔥🔥🔥
Talk about using 100% of the motorcycle that you paid for
i think he used 115% on this one
