To sound and imitate Zeppelin is one thing, but to recreate new music with a bluesy rock sound is altogether different. These guys can do anything! I'm excited for this!
I give him props for acknowledging Plant and even having a sense of humor about the fact that they do sound like Zeppelin clones. Roll with it and keep putting out great music. I look forward to hearing what these guys evolve into as they get older and mature into their own skins and musicianship
Dave Saturn they do and give them credit if it’s brought up. What do people want, for them to give a 20 min speech on Led Zeppelin every time they do an interview? These guys just need to keep doing what they’re doing because it’s AMAZING!
Josh!!! I hope somebody let you know how much I admire you, love you "motherly love", of course and bless you! Your brothers, including Brother Danny Wagner!!!
You bring joy to our hearts. We grew up in that era before you were born. I am very happy......for you guys. Absolutely Satisfied With The Songs......Its Blessing....We apperciate What You and Brothers Done. 70s 🎸 Rock!!!!🇺🇸🎶🎵🎼🎹⭐⭐⭐⭐💗😁
Patty Anne They themselves even admit they sound a lot like Led Zepplin, and the singer even said so in the interview. It is nothing to be ashamed of or to try to deny. They are a great band, and comparisons to LZ takes nothing away from them.
I can think of a lot worse things than for a young singer to be said he sounds like Robert Plant. The guy is a legend, and the kid admits he idolizes him.
Patty Anne what? The band's guitarist has said in multiple interviews that he studied all things Paige. Also you know FUCK ALL about music. The heavy distorted blues sound did not exist prior to Zeppelin so how is "they were influenced by the same music" even possible? Oh then there is the singer who's voice cracks live trying to sound like Robert Plant. Where Robert Plant's voice never did because he was not forcing himself to sound like someone else. Then there is this kid who poorly pantomimes Robert Plant's stage mannerisms while attempting to dress like him.
Authentic rock n roll inspired by the blues legends, excellent musicians and vocals, oh we have been starved for too long needing great rock n roll to return !!!
Because this guy and Steven Tyler as well as Robert Plant always sound raspy while touring due their straining vocal styles. Listen to Robert Plant interviews from the 70's and he sounds that way as well (English accent of course). Unfortunately, voices like that don't generally hold up with age. Steven's is shot and Robert completely toned down his style but still worked on his voice. But that's just part of singing Rock & Roll and getting older. I have to say I'm impressed with how Robert turned his singing around after his time in the Nashville scene with all the bluegrass and country singers and players inspiring and teaching him. He doesn't sing so high pitched anymore but he does his thing. I would give anything to see a Zeppelin reunion. But I respect Robert for not doing it because it wouldn't be up to par. P.S. Listen to the beginning of "Black Country Woman on Physical Graffiti" Robert talks right before the song kicks off and it sounds just like this dude talking lol.
I'll give him the credit for acknowledging Robert Plant is the greatest vocalist of all time. He still can't touch him. That being said, he's damn good and I've enjoyed what I've heard so far.
To be fair, this guy easily reaches notes that Plant wouldnt even touch live or even in studio. Robert Plant is a huge name carried by one of the best bands ever, but I could give you 5 or 6 better soundig vocalists than him
You won't find many in new music because modern vocalists dont quite push their voice to their potential. Theres exceptions of course like this guy or Luke Spiller... But Ill tell you one of my favourite voices ever Chris Cornell, check out the songs: Pretty noose, Mind riot, Loud love, Fresh deadly roses, Seasons, Say hello 2 Heaven. But this is just my opinion, I still respect everything and everyone :)
He sounds like Robert, circa 1968 to 71. He's got better range than Plant ever did (I actually hear some Geddy Lee in there at times), but he doesn't have Plant's vocal balls and swing, at least yet. As to who sounds better than Plant, at a certain point it's just about taste. Cornell's voice was superb, Daltrey's was great, etc. I just happened to like what Plant was singing most of all, so that flavors my opinion of his voice. This kid seems to share that opinion. Wise boy :) Also, a thoughtful, intelligent one, like Plant was, for all his posing and preening in the early to mid Zep years. The question with this band is whether they can develop into the kind of musicians Zep were. Those dudes had serious skills. At 21 Bonham was already among the very best rock drummers ever, for example, and Page and Jones, though a little older, were top of the line players. Tough act to follow.
...so, sings like Robert Plant, behaves and speaks like Stephen Tyler, and....looks like Zach De La Rocha. It's just so tough to give them total props when they literally sound like another band. But yes, happy they exist and I hope the grow into their own sound.
my whole thing is just like....... why is it that robert plant is better because he’s older? people top people all the time. in no way am i saying robert plant is amazing and yes one of the most talented humans of all time, but literally just because he’s far older than josh does not mean josh can’t get high and be better. if this offends you then sorry not sorry shit happens
These guys are great, but this guy needs to stop acting like Robert Plant. He does everything Robert does from holding the mic, his voice, his hand movements. Be original
Jorge Rodriguez I mean to be fair they do only have 1 album and this kid is only like max 20 years old. I'd say he has more than enough time to develop his own style. It will come with experience
With all due respect, he without a doubt sounds VERY SIMILAR to Robert Plant, but that's where the similarity to Zeppelin ends IMO. There is an obvious lack of lyrical depth, musicianship and originality in a head to head comparison. I guess only time will tell if they're all the critics are cracking them up to be. While somewhat entertaining, I'm just not about to swallow the hype, hook, line and sinker, not yet anyway. If this opinion triggers some, so be it.
These guys have talent. Unfortunately they are using it to try and be someone else. Many bands have tried to do the"lets try and sound like led zeppelin" Kingdom Come, white snake, Wolfmother all tried the same. It garnered them attention for a minute untill they couldn't move past the glorified cover band gimmick. Quickly forgotten. Unless they learn to truly be original they won't last.
Josh is very very Charming and very very talented God bless him I pray Greta Van Fleet lives on for 70 years
To sound and imitate Zeppelin is one thing, but to recreate new music with a bluesy rock sound is altogether different. These guys can do anything! I'm excited for this!
Check out Dirty Honey too you'll love em! fucking another great singer! th-cam.com/video/lW7iN-w4qas/w-d-xo.html
Patty Anne they can do anything someone else has done first and better.
I give him props for acknowledging Plant and even having a sense of humor about the fact that they do sound like Zeppelin clones. Roll with it and keep putting out great music. I look forward to hearing what these guys evolve into as they get older and mature into their own skins and musicianship
Joe Peters Exactly! People have been saying they never talk about Zepplin - well he just gave them props!
Dave Saturn they do and give them credit if it’s brought up. What do people want, for them to give a 20 min speech on Led Zeppelin every time they do an interview? These guys just need to keep doing what they’re doing because it’s AMAZING!
his voice shocked me, not what I was expecting but still great!
My heart just pours out for them! I absolutely love josh! He’s so sweet and knowledgeable. Miss that hair!
this cleared my skin
Wicked Picket!!!!love that!!!!great going Josh!!!!
He's so beautiful I'm crying
I hope they know how much joy they bring to us..❤❤
Happy Birthday Josh and Jake!! Thanks for the great music and looking forward to much more!
Josh!!! I hope somebody let you know how much I admire you, love you "motherly love", of course and bless you! Your brothers, including Brother Danny Wagner!!!
I luv his voice!!! ❤💕
LOVE how these HUGELY TALENTED guys are SO down-to-earth!!
You're SO creative Josh! Love your short movies, too.
Forget about Zeppelin...you guys have you're own sound. Just influenced by the same music! You rock...and you rocked my soul in NC! Please come back!

Such a neat guy, really down to earth. I wish you much success, and I look forward to the journey. Good Luck Josh! You rock...
Authentic rock n roll inspired by the blues legends, excellent musicians and vocals, oh we have been starved for too long needing great rock n roll to return !!!
Young talent. Young minds. The future of rock and roll has much to look forward to. These kids rock and have renewed my faith in the youth of today.
He sings like Robert Plant and talks like Steven Tyler
Wow, he does talk Steven Tyler.
Because this guy and Steven Tyler as well as Robert Plant always sound raspy while touring due their straining vocal styles. Listen to Robert Plant interviews from the 70's and he sounds that way as well (English accent of course). Unfortunately, voices like that don't generally hold up with age. David Hodges Oh yes, in the beginning of Black Country Woman his voice sounded raspy when he said, “No leave it, yeah”.
Matt Meberg oh shit , it is true
Phenomenal singer. Many strong singers have that raspy voice about them. Reminded me if Sebastian Bach also.
Wilson Pickett reference was great.
the laugh at 0:15 🥺
Thank you - thank you Josh; for 'finally' acknowledging the Great Robert Plant!!
LOVE THEM!!❤❤❤
Just a great rock band.Too bad the Zeppelin thing keeps coming up.They are what they are...A rock band.Listen!
It keeps coming up cause they sound like Zep.
When Josh speaks, he sounds like Steven Tyler.
holy shit he does
It’s the raspy voice
Okay now it's official I am a fan now. He gave credit! ha ha
Keep it comin' Greta Van Fleet - you are your own, self-made band - great musicians and excellent voice!
These guys rock!
I love him
1:47 The guy in the back looks like Jason Bonham
I'm in agreement. Though I'd much rather you come to Vancouver, BC
These guy's are very cool.
He. Talks. Like. Josh. And. Sings. Like. Josh
Hey Josh, when are you going to make movie...you I believe will be a great cross over - music, acting and writing
You guys rock!
Ciao Joshua, sei fantastico! sei simpaticissimo!...ciao, Carlo dalla Maremma/Toscana
Yeah! LOve this guys!
I'll give him the credit for acknowledging Robert Plant is the greatest vocalist of all time. He still can't touch him. That being said, he's damn good and I've enjoyed what I've heard so far.

Peter Saints can you name them?
Im not being a dick i Just want to find new music lol

Btw you might not find the studio version of these songs on youtube. Studio version obviously makes it more justice

Hay. He's. Josh.
was the thumb down a direct reflection of the cameraman's shitty diabolical workings, it's obviously not the subjects themselves
Cause. He. Is. Josh
I hate when people says vinyl's the plural of Vinyl is Vinyl.
These guys have come to revive rock. But this interview is where you can see that they are still kids 😂
Kale how?
...so, sings like Robert Plant, behaves and speaks like Stephen Tyler, and....looks like Zach De La Rocha.
It's just so tough to give them total props when they literally sound like another band. But yes, happy they exist and I hope the grow into their own sound.
Was that Heisenberg in the background?
Is the cameraman drunk? He does not stop moving.
Like cracking that 1st beer warm day friday workweek done backyard friends showing up
how tall is he
Big DG 5.5
All I see is Greta Van Fleet on stage not Led Zeppelin
my whole thing is just like....... why is it that robert plant is better because he’s older? people top people all the time. in no way am i saying robert plant is amazing and yes one of the most talented humans of all time, but literally just because he’s far older than josh does not mean josh can’t get high and be better. if this offends you then sorry not sorry shit happens
Sounds lik snot from anerican dad
Google- Lady Ga Ga as a man. I think the singer is Lady Ga Ga...
Nice to see an interview with him where he isn't faking a British accent
*screams* "GOOD"
With all due respect, he without a doubt sounds VERY SIMILAR to Robert Plant, but that's where the similarity to Zeppelin ends IMO. They sound great but here today gone tomorrow need to be original not a sound alike!
These guys have talent. Unfortunately they are using it to try and be someone else.

Kingdom Come, white snake, Wolfmother all tried the same. It garnered them attention for a minute untill they couldn't move past the glorified cover band gimmick. Quickly forgotten.

These guys are good but I just found Rival sons and they are better.
Dude really gets on my nerves. I guess I’m just an old cranky dude
Which one of you die at 27!?!
Eric Woodson guitarist
Ron Trip as long as they play the role ... It's pretty obvious they sold their ...
Eric Woodson you’re terrible. Why would you want them dead? You are jealous of them!
Why does he keep touching his face??? This dude is coked up!
