- Jake Kiszka (guitar) and Sam Kiszka (bass guitar) of Greta Van Fleet sat down with The Point's Donny Fandango before their SOLD OUT St. Louis show at The Pageant on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018. Jake and Sam chat about drummer, Danny Wagner's hand injury that almost forced them to cancel the show, finding a record label that allowed them to maintain complete creative control, and the writing/recording process for their new record.
Danny is a fantastic drummer, and it is heartworming to see all of them represent their generation in such a positive way. They work hard to produce their music, and, wow, the results are awesome. Keep it up, guys! Your music is multigenerational!
they are so genuine and honest about their music it’s just upsetting to see people giving them shit. i love you guys so much. thank you.
My man looks like Robin Hood.
One of best live bands around and they've barely got going yet.
Poor Danny so proud of him for pushing through
this interview is so good. the interviewer is so respectful and let's them both talk instead of rushing through it. jake and sammy are definitely the best interview duo because they both bounce off of each other instead of speaking over the other. i love josh but if he was here, they'd all be fighting to talk lmao
Who thinks Sammy should sing lead on a track?
Jake talking like a frontman already
I love Jake's voice
These dudes are 20. Let that sink in when you hear them talk.
No, I have to say, I'm falling in love with these boys more and more and more, with everything new, I find out about them and every interview I watch like this. Why they are getting so much hate is utterly, beyond me.
So happy to see a band who appreciate real rock and roll. These guys are the Real deal.
Good interview. A real conversation and not the same old rote questions.
"Not going to give up any creative control EVER!"
This is a great interview! The boys are always amazing and the interviewer is great very considerate
Thanks for an awesome show!
This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen with them
Danny, have a speedy recovery!
Smart move, don't let the industry take control of your music and YOU! Prince had the right idea about that. May he RIP.
Thank you guys for reviving rock
