My 3 Biggest Mistakes When Learning Vocabulary - Polyglot Tips

In this video I unveil the three major mistakes I have made when studying vocabulary in a foreign tongue. The first one was not discriminating; namely, trying to learn every single new word I came across instead of focusing on the most relevant ones. My second mistake was going through my list of words to learn in a rather unintelligent way. The final one was that I would often end up in what I have decided to call the Black Hole of Vocabulary Learning (for more on that, check out the video).

I am a passionate language and vocabulary lerner myself. In my experience people very often remember words they dont intend to know :) I dont think we should worry as much about words but more about contextual usage.
