Why do you need to feel pursued? Pursuing others is exhausting and only done in the beginning, when he's proving himself to you. If he has to constantly prove himself to prove his love to you, you have no trust or confidence in him. Or did you have a different definition of "pursuing"?

We’ve only been physically separated 2 months, but as I go through this journey I realized that we have been separated in home for a while. We were living as roommates and there was no love, but my sins and evil ways had me blinded to all the warning signs. I believe that God hardened my heart so that he could allow this situation to bring me to the place I needed to be at to turn away from doing things my way but rely and lean on him and get right with God first, and learn to trust in Him! I also believe that God then allowed my spouse to harden their heart to fix things in my spouse too! If my spouse hadn’t hardened their heart I wouldn’t have seen things through God’s ways, but I would have changed in my flesh to save my marriage but the change needs to come through a change in my walk with Christ and in my heart!
This really hit home. I’d like to ask you something, what happens when you’ve done what you mentioned about not all husbands come home…? our marriage was restored after 3 years but sadly I wasn’t healed and pretty much did what you mention about manipulation and sadly after just 1 year restored my husband left again, it’s been a little over a year now. We are in minimal contact, my heart is so heavy knowing how deep I’ve hurt God and my husband. I will keep praying and standing and believing God that even though I messed up, God still wants to restore us and our 28 year marriage.

She wants me to grab the rest of my things from our home and is putting it up for sale. Our divorce is final in a few weeks. We need every prayer we can get please. I believe God is the only one who can soften her hardened heart. This has been a mental, physical and most of all spiritual battle but I believe God will heal us and help us overcome.

She divorced me last year July and actually remarried. But few weeks after coming to me wanting to work on us and restore our family but now she’s back to not wanting to. I’ll take blame for it as I still have work to do but she also showed she’s not fully submitted to God will and any thing “difficult” she runs. But I know too God still has to work on me. This is very easy to talk about. I often feel that it is "shared by people who have not been through it". Married people tell me "don't put the wife/husband first". If I remove his/her spouse out of their life? Right now? Would they still be so smart? You have been waiting. Monday.... Friday... January... March... June.... Nothing. I would like to testify, this didn't work for me. I prayed,cried, tried for 25 years and my situation grew worse. I was finally granted a spiritual divorce from God. I also experienced witnessing sincere heart change in others that did happen, Amen. I've watched/listened to a lot of your videos, and I'm starting to realize there is a theme of humbling ourselves to sin. What I mean is there is this common theme that we are to love and "accept" whatever our spouses do and let God draw/heal/fix them. This is a weird passive/accepting stance that I don't believe is biblical. Yes, love covers a multitude of sins, but we do not allow sinners to corrupt us. We need to stay far away from people who are being evil towards us. Bad company corrupts good character. It changes us in a bad way to allow UNREPENTANT sinners to be in our presence. It grieves the Holy Spirit to love a person to the point that it ruins our own souls. Living in denial just to love a person unconditionally is not healthy. When you make statements saying "these are things we do that made our (my insert UNREPENTANT SINFUL) spouses to want to leave us in the first place. I'm sorry but HEALTHY HEALED LOVING CHRISTIANS WHO FOLLOW JESUS are "pushing" away our spouses? No, no, no!!! It has NOTHING to do with us!!!! We could be the most perfect wife/husband and they will still treat us badly and leave, etc. Because it is the demons in them rebelling against the Jesus/God/Holy Spirit in us!!! Stop telling people to cater to sin!!! We are already made perfect in Christ the minute we believe. It is already finished. There is no "old you" we are already a new woman the minute we became believers in Jesus!!! You got it all wrong!!! If a woman is self righteous and contentious it is because her sinful spouse corrupted her good character. That is why the separation took place. It is not about HOW GOOD WE ARE. @@lke4907 God is our defender and the perfect judge. He deals with sin. Our job is to trust him and to extend unconditional love and forgiveness. Standing isn’t for everyone. If that’s the way you feel then you probably won’t be restored.
I am battling with this, 2 years ago I prayed for restoration of my marriage before and after my wife left, she has since then slept with 2 different men and I'm not so sure I want her to come back anymore
We forgive 70 x 7….Just like we are forgiven. Ask the lord to help you see your wife through his eyes. Remember it’s a spiritual battle. Her sin is a reflection of her brokenness and wounds.

We can trust that our prayers are powerful and that God is pursuing them. The most important thing is to trust God will get through in his way and time and to not focus on what you see or feel but only what God’s word says.

I love the truth that God is able to change our spouse’s heart- something that no person can do. But what do you do if your spouse has remarried someone else? If this is the case, is it still a valid prayer to ask God to change their heart so that they turn back to Him and to us as the standing spouse as well?

She wants me to grab the rest of my things from our home and is putting it up for sale. Our divorce is final in a few weeks. We need every prayer we can get please. I believe God is the only one who can soften her hardened heart. This has been a mental, physical and most of all spiritual battle but I believe God will heal us and help us overcome.

I still pray for her on and off, I'm not as hurt as I used to be but I still do feel some bitterness. I have a feeling she is with someone else and it breaks my heart to think about. Just been spending a lot of time with family and by myself. Going to continue praying for my situation as well as yours and everyone else's in the comments

God change my husband heart toward me
God can definitely change their heart. My wife heart was seemed to change and she wanted to work on our marriage but few weeks later she gave up again and done. She divorced me last year July and actually remarried. But few weeks after coming to me wanting to work on us and restore our family but now she’s back to not wanting to. I’ll take blame for it as I still have work to do but she also showed she’s not fully submitted to God will and any thing “difficult” she runs. But I know too God still has to work on me. I rather she stays away then say I’m committed then next day she’s not. I’m good on that
I didn’t exhibit a kind spirit or gentle so she ran again. Tough when being blamed for everything even for their issues. Idk if I’ll ever be where I should be for her to feel she can be committed as she once vowed.

She’s playing with fire marrying a foreigner who never been to the US and did it 4 months after our divorce. I’ve tried warning her she’s being used for a green card but she doesn’t want to listen. She went to get baptized this past Sunday and followed it with not listening to God or seeking Him just decided to go right back to the foreigner. I pray for covering and protection over my young children. I pray that this other person never set a foot in the same home as my children
I believe God can turn my husband’s heart toward home. The thing I wonder is how will my husband know my heart, that I’m now a changed person due to God since he went completely no contact. It’s been 8 months now. He refuses to reply to anything. He lives with the counterfeit still.

I would like to testify, this didn't work for me. I prayed,cried, tried for 25 years and my situation grew worse. I was finally granted a spiritual divorce from God. I also experienced witnessing sincere heart change in others that did happen, Amen. This happened in a matter of months which confirmed to me God is always working in hearts, the best thing to do is walk away and allow Him.
I agree Jesus Christ can change your husband heart in am instant,,,,, but wives are you changing are you healing so when God returns your espouse you are transform through Christ…. I've watched/listened to a lot of your videos, and I'm starting to realize there is a theme of humbling ourselves to sin. What I mean is there is this common theme that we are to love and "accept" whatever our spouses do and let God draw/heal/fix them. This is a weird passive/accepting stance that I don't believe is biblical. Yes, love covers a multitude of sins, but we do not allow sinners to corrupt us. We need to stay far away from people who are being evil towards us. Bad company corrupts good character. It changes us in a bad way to allow UNREPENTANT sinners to be in our presence. It grieves the Holy Spirit to love a person to the point that it ruins our own souls. Living in denial just to love a person unconditionally is not healthy. When you make statements saying "these are things we do that made our (my insert UNREPENTANT SINFUL) spouses to want to leave us in the first place. I'm sorry but HEALTHY HEALED LOVING CHRISTIANS WHO FOLLOW JESUS are "pushing" away our spouses? No, no, no!!! It has NOTHING to do with us!!!! We could be the most perfect wife/husband and they will still treat us badly and leave, etc. Because it is the demons in them rebelling against the Jesus/God/Holy Spirit in us!!! Stop telling people to cater to sin!!! We are already made perfect in Christ the minute we believe. It is already finished. There is no "old you" we are already a new woman the minute we became believers in Jesus!!! You got it all wrong!!! If a woman is self righteous and contentious it is because her sinful spouse corrupted her good character. That is why the separation took place. It is not about HOW GOOD WE ARE. IT is about the UNREPENTANT SINNER aka our spouses. Stop catering to toxic sinners!!!!
@@lke4907 God is our defender and the perfect judge. He deals with sin. Our job is to trust him and to extend unconditional love and forgiveness. Standing isn’t for everyone. If that’s the way you feel then you probably won’t be restored.

I am battling with this, 2 years ago I prayed for restoration of my marriage before and after my wife left, she has since then slept with 2 different men and I'm not so sure I want her to come back anymore
We forgive 70 x 7….Just like we are forgiven. Ask the lord to help you see your wife through his eyes. Remember it’s a spiritual battle. Her sin is a reflection of her brokenness and wounds.

@@viajandoconJ No it’s not easy to believe….But sin is pleasurable for only a season. We don’t always know what they are truly feeling when they lay their head on the pillow at night. We can trust that our prayers are powerful and that God is pursuing them. The most important thing is to trust God will get through in his way and time and to not focus on what you see or feel but only what God’s word says.

I love the truth that God is able to change our spouse’s heart- something that no person can do. But what do you do if your spouse has remarried someone else? If this is the case, is it still a valid prayer to ask God to change their heart so that they turn back to Him and to us as the standing spouse as well?
Yes absolutely keep praying! If they divorced you and are remarried the word says they are in adultery.

I come in complete agreement with this and decree, declare and claim this! I have already seen how God has moved in me and my circumstances! He is so faithful and so good! My marriage is not restored, yet, but he is working and moving! Have faith and completely trust in Him! I’m still working on complete Trust in Him but I know God can and will restore and renew my marriage!
Instead of asking when ask God what….Lord what do you want to change in me? Trust His timing is perfect and he will turn your spouses heart in due season!
