Got this setup a couple weeks ago and I love it! I don’t have the factory audio system so I had to install a separate amp to power my speakers, other than that it was a fairly simple install.

Love the device but I would need an installer. My electrician experience is plugging into the wall socket. Guess I'll have to get my grandson. Thanks for sharing
hey mike, I'm sorry I haven't done that yet. I need to figure it out and make another video. I will keep you updated. I'm pretty sure you just need to use a usb and download the update on their site then plug it in the cable in the glove box above the stereo. I usually use my magellan for navigation so it hasn't really bothered me. I will work on it.
I do have the alternator kit, but I don't think you need it. I had the alternator before the interactive display so I can't really tell you if it would drain the battery.
How did you wire your speakers with out the plug on the speaker side. I have mine installed and the speakers wired with round connectors and if I turn up to full the stereo cuts out and skips like a old record?? Does an amp need to be added??
not exactly sure Arizona? I originally had the older system installed with the sub and the 2 door speakers. I switched out the old head unit for this interactive display and added the other 2 (behind your head) speakers. they were all connected through the subwoofer/amp with (for the most part) plug and play. are you using your own speakers or were they part of a kit?
How this is not standard in every krx ever sold is unreal. I feel like I've been raped day after day of the sale with the cost of after market shit most of which should already be on the thing before you buy it, just like the stock seat belts most of which wind up in the trash.
I feel ya buddy. I bought the KRX when it first came out. $20,500 there was only one model with a couple colors. I even got a $1000 rebate making it only $19,500 since then I've dumped tons of money into the thing. I'm almost embarrass to say how much. I agree with you. they should all at least come with a roof. the big shame is that all the stock parts we replace have no resale value. nobody wants them. I have piles of rims and tiles 😂😂😂

Me neither. I was able to use my existing speaker and subwoofer system from my original system. It's kinda pricey but supper cool.
