I would recommend vapour brighting, it's like retrobrighting, it should lighten it up without any abrasion but do research - FYI it's a fairly unusual system, LGR did a video on the original monorail computer, this is one of their later ones. :)
Window cleaner should be fine for the old banger. You will not be able to clean the yellowed bit, its a dyscoloration of the plastic. you can put it out into the Aussie sun though and "sunbriting" will hopefully bleach it back towards the original colour a bit. There is also a process called retrobriting that involved chemicals but you don't want that hassle unless the machine is dear to you.
@@techyescityI just use a sponge and dishwasher to clean them in the bathtub. You could also try and throw the front plate into the dishwasher if you can remove everything and just leave plastic. But tell us what worked out best in the end, I'm really interested to see

Hi Brian, great video. Can you show that wheel bearing grease, the 665 anti-rust spray and whatever else helpful stuff you use to fix things in electronics and around the house? Basically I want to know for each product what it is, how it looks like on the inside, when and how you use it. Best deal I got last week was a set of stuff the guy couldn't boot, sold him a $650 10770K system with no GPU, to go with his 3080 and gave him $150 credit for what he had been trying to make work. Really nice white ATX tempered glass case and fans, tower cooler, 32GB DDR4, 10400F, Z490 MB, 750W Gold PSU, oh and an 11900K he hadn't tried to make work yet. He had the cpu seated wrong, EVERYTHING was in perfect condition.
Awesome parts hunt video as usual. Also good to see Les is well. Love the Street Fighter II remix at the end. Keep those videos coming and looking forward to the flipup challenge!
I setup windows 11 computers for work. its definitely slower. I suspect it is because it has additional defender related security which makes the computer slower. More security is always going to come at a performance hit.
I knew a guy that used "Tuff Stuff" cleaner with the brush on the end to clean old super nintendos that had yellowing like that. I don't know how strong that stuff is but might be worth a shot.
Take the logos off with isopropyl alcohol and put them on wax paper. Put the plastics in a big bucket full of peroxide, leave it in the sun to take the yellow out of the plastic. Reapply the stickers.

When it comes to the R7 430, those are OEM Cards from like Dell with DDR3 for VRAM, on my local classifieds here in Ontario, Canada there's someone with a "Graphic Card AMD 4Gb Low Profile" listed for $25 CAD, looking at the sticker on the side of the shroud with a P/N that comes up when I google it as a R7 350X.
