    Dr. Wily when designing Astro Man: "I like big butts and I cannot lie! You other villains can't deny! When Mega Man walks in like a big dumb disgrace, robot butt all in his face, he gets KILLED!!"

    Thanks to you my life is now much easier when trying to beat the bosses with the Mega Buster only, I would never guess how to avoid MM8 Astro Man's Astro Crush without watching your video, and now I am here again, but this time with MM&Bass Astro Man.
    I really appreciate your work and you deserve more subscribers.

    I recently have become aware of a new strategy to deal with the VR Screen of Death: only advance when you have a Muragattori flying over your head, or a Met spawning behind you. Reason being, there is a timer between enemy spawns and this ensures one doesn’t spawn directly on top of you. Also, if you wait for a Met behind you, you’re far less likely to have a Muragattori spawn right in front of you just as you jump a pit.
    It results in a bit of a crawl through that room, and the worst possible scenario is a Met blocking your path with a Onbuubattan advancing behind you.

      @@SilentDragonite149 Only so much, there still is plenty in this stage to cause headaches. In any case, I have no desire to revisit this place again.

    So I think King signed Tengu Man and Astro Man up for some judo or karate or self-defense classes of some sort, and now they're suddenly stupendously hard in this game!

    Wow, it's like at times you don't even get a chance to start the fight just because of a wrong guess or unavoidable result.

      That is precisely the issue. If Astro Man goes for the dive at you, it’s extremely difficult to dodge. Not to mention throughout that long fight, you have to time your slides to coincide with the Copy Visions firing at you. That was actually a bigger issue for me, because it’s just so frantic that you don’t pay attention to the telegraphs and you’re operating on muscle memory.

    Looking back, I honestly think Astro Man is the hardest robot in this game. While Burner Man and Dynamo Man are difficult, at least they are fighting you on the ground and you can just blast them. Astro Man spends the entire fight trying to ram into you from above and you can't really damage him easily like you can the other two guys. Not sure why Astro Man got the free pass.

      With the no miss rule, I’d make the same argument with Pirate Man. He’s super tough.
      But Astro Man’s fight stands apart with how uncooperative and irritating he is with how much sliding he makes you do. It’s not at all fun.

    Even though i've never played this game, jeez louis! Astro Man is a mess of a menace to face! The stage also seemed kind of simplistically cheap with its small platforms. Honestly, I feel like this stage was built to just deal damage. You're pretty right, this game just seems to not like itself at times. Hope Magic Man is a better experience though!

    Something interesting: I’m doing Bass no miss runs and here is my experience:
    The joes can be easily dealt with by jumping over the first and shooting the second one from behind.
    The enemy spawning room is annoying as always
    And Astro man is more difficult as bass due to his more unstable buster

      Astro Man was already pretty tough here because you have to wait for the dice roll to work in your favor and his speed as he moves across the room. I don’t envy doing that. Good luck!
