When these radios support Android audio and Apple carplay if they get an up date will the Radio install it or will it just stay on a older version I have a 2003 mustang and want to get this had a friend who owns a 2019 Colorado and his Android auto looks real modern

The pioneer head units sound quality overall are better than the jvc and kenwood headunits now the kenwood excellon has nots are the same as the pioneer units from what I’ve seen and installed

Does this unit have even frequencies like 98.4, 100.2, 92.6, etc?
I'm buying this unit to use outside the US. Also does the CD/DVD play with any MP3/Mp4 CD/DVD or it has to be NTSC?
Also is the avh-w4400 worth the extra 200$ for wireless and extra USB? I was thinking to usb hub or splitter to get an extra usb will it work?
Also I was considering DDX9704S as an option since its Kenwood, 2 USB, Capacitive touch screen and only 400$.
However I feel like Pioneer UI are much more amusing and easier to use, like for example when you receive a phone call the kenwood shows the answer box on the right and pioneer shows in center where it should be. Also the Radio presets are on the right on Kenwood which is inconvenient for me. They seem to offset everything that is important to the right I don't know why! Also the kenwood displays useless blue thumbnail for radio that shows on the top left of home screen and in radio screen is waste of space and confusing.I would love to know your opinion.

How do you setup the radio Pioneer avh 2440 nex, and rear headrest monitors as dual entertainment- to play separately - I am having hard time figuring it out. When I play a dvd on the rear monitors, and then switch to car play in the front to play music, it stops the dvd in the back - any assistance would be greatly appreciated - thank you

Hi, i have a question. How do u connect two different cables for Apple and Android phones (I am using both platforms). And can u in addition connect USB to play music so u can easily remove it when needed? Thanks
There is only 1 USB port so you'd have to switch phones into the USB cable. Besides Bluetooth, the stereo will play music via a USB thumb Drive or a USB cable into your phone
So if you buy the idatalink maestro, you don’t need that other steering wheel controls interface ?
The iDataLink Maestro RR doesn't have SWC controls. You'd need to get their SWC adapter or Axxess'

It depends on the stereo. Some stereos let you use Android Auto without ground the parking brake but a lot do

Personally, I'd get the Sony. I love the design of that stereo, awesome display, layout, OS, I don't need a disc slot like on the Pioneer.

The avh w4400nex is the only pioneer nex thats detachable. I just installed it a couple of days ago and it is a delight to use.
