I love the wallpaper in the playroom please don't get rid of that.
I love watching your mother/daughter interactions. ❤ When you said someone had commented about you laughing and not being professional??? That just made me sad. The best thing about you both, is your love for each other. You remind me of me and my daughter...Best friends. 🥰 Please don't stop laughing and having fun together. It's the best.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is the best comment ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you for your kind words and for watching!
Love your house no matter what changes you decide on. RV change wallpaper & spray paint the light fixtures maybe a muted gold. Living Room sectional sofa & maybe 2 additional chairs & new coffee table. Playroom paint a moody color from wallpaper, keep existing table for kids & get 2 small chairs with backs. Take the 2 stools and put in daughter's room & the trunk from living room in son's bedroom or in playroom against wall for additional storage. Kitchen I like the white or paint the lower cabinets the blue color. Dining room do a board batten half way up the wall same color (blue) as kitchen & pick a wallpaper for upper wall that matches. Paint the dining room table white & get a cushion for the bench.
I love all your videos but this is so fun that we are helping you with the design process together.
Can't wait to see the choices you have make.
Yes to the new wallpaper in the camper and yes to new light fixtures. As for your living room, I vote for another sofa and at least one more chair. Change the coffee table and go dark and moody in the playroom. I love the idea of F&B Pigeon in your kitchen.
I feel the kids room would look amazing with the color on the doors all around. It would most definitely bring out the beauty of the wall paper even more.
Love you two, don't change anything about how you interact with one another or us! One suggestion for your playroom, why not get a Children's square table and 2 chairs in a style that fits with your existing style? Both children would have a safe space to draw. We have a gray and white set in the middle of our room, she uses it every day. It would be a beautiful and functional addition to your playroom! Can't wait to see how everything turns out!❤
Keep white for the kitchen. You’re home is beautiful Those other colors are a fad. Love it when you and your mom laugh, hilarious!
In the kitchen, consider not painting everything, but adding warm touches, like new wood stools and wood furniture and warm touches of handmade ceramics/accents. Perhaps switch the white plank wall for natural wood or paint it a deep hue. Consider changing the black hardware - or age it to have an unlacquered brass look. In the Farrow and Ball photo, notice the window treatment - something like that would warm up the light and reduce white glare. I think your shelves are a way to add warmth; it could be that the shelves in other homes are left out due to the cost of everything else. Jean Staffer Design has examples of kitchens that helped inspire me to warm up my spaces.
I love your house the way it is so hard to think about the changes you’re thinking about. The living room could look good going with a moody color but I love your trunk as a coffee table - it’s unique! I could see 2 couches and chairs in your living room. The dining room is really nice - I don’t think it’s boring. I can see that you want to change the lighting as it is aggravating to you but I think I would go with another chandelier plus canned lights. The bench seat you showed with the pillows sounds fun and by all means, add storage - we always need storage! I love your playroom just as is but you could get a small table that would work for both kids. Your kitchen is beautiful- I hate to see you change anything!
In the large living room, if you get another sofa, consider either the same or one very similar and arrange them opposite each other, or get one in a velvety soft warm beige for an L or box arrangement. Pure Salt has a photo of a velvet sofa styled with one like yours in their interiors tab. I think that sectionals are less conducive to conversation at gatherings but more for lounging while watching TV.
Where did you get the playroom wallpaper? It is gorgeous!
Where did you get wallpaper?
1. Change the Wallpaper and the sconces in the camper. 2. Add another sofa and chairs to the living room: sectionals don’t function well when entertaining. 3. I absolutely love the playroom the way it is it’s bright and refreshing for kids to play in.
1. Change the wallpaper. 2. Second sofa. 3. Keep the table, put the trunk in front of the window. Keep a playroom bright. Not moody. 4. Greenish color (not mushroom). 5. Bench seat with cabinets. No can lights unless you keep a chandelier.
I love all your choices 💕 Thank you!!
Agree with above suggestions
Love the white kitchen. Yes, to change wallpaper in RV so things match.
I love your dining room lighting! Maybe try a larger wall hanging with wall scones (candle scones). Add a table runner or maybe a rug underneath. It is so pretty as is though.
1)RV Office-blue floral wallpaper 2)Livingroom-if no tv, then 2 sofa's facing each other & 2 chairs at end facing fireplace 3)Playroom-would not go dark & moody for this room. Have you considered an actual child-sized table & chair set in natural wood for easier accessibility 4)Kitchen-mushroom paint (still subtle & neutral) 5)Diningroom-THIS would be great for your dark & moody paint with a large chandelier.
Your home is beautiful! Everything you’ve done so far looks fantastic but if you’re looking to make some changes, here are my suggestions: change wallpaper in RV. Your Mom’s floral paper will look lovely. Kitchen is great as is but I understand you wanting a bigger sink. Though expensive, soapstone is my favorite & will make a big impact. I like the sofa you have in living room. Great if you can add pieces to create sectional. Playroom will look great painted darker color but I’d get a more kid friendly table/chairs for your little ones. Add buffet or another piece to dining room . I like the table you have. Have fun. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
It’s so fun hearing everyone’s thoughts! I love all your choices especially the soapstone sink! Thanks for watching and helping us design 💕
Add another sofa in the living room, no sectional.
Yes to moving the trunk coffee table to another place and replacing it.
Go with a children’s table and children’s chairs in the playroom (ikea has a nice wooden set).
I love your kitchen just the way it is!! White .awesome that space so clean!!!!
Definitely the mushroom color!!
Furniture: Living Room- no sectional, people are stuck in a certain position and forced to lean forward and turn their heads to speak to someone if there are several people sitting on the sectional and sectionals do not leave “room” to rearrange when that whim strikes; add upholstered swivel chairs in a brown or beige and/or striped linen along with the chairs you have, this allows people to turn to where the conversation is and be more intimate without crowding together on a sectional. Playroom- keep the wallpaper, it’s gorgeous and will grow with your family as they get older, I think if you paint a dark color like charcoal, it may change the shading and light on that gorgeous wallpaper, maybe the gray that is on your doors but I love your playroom as it is, maybe change the upholstery to charcoal or charcoal striped upholstery that still brings that dark, moody color into the room. Kitchen- mushroom on the kitchen proper lowers (the u-shaped area with the peninsula) to contrast with the countertops, lower open shelves are a treasure trove for toddlers- keep that in mind as you do have children and they also need to be comfortable wandering through your kitchen without worrying if they are touching or moving things on a lower shelf. Dining- I love the idea of the bench seat that’s not a bench seat with the back cushion’s attached to the wall, a long rectangular table with no chairs on the ends and only chairs on the open side as that will allow traffic flow to the bench seating, I get the oval shape, but budget wise, a long rectangle is just as beautiful and functional, not in love with built ins on either side of the bench seating. Your daughter’s room is perfect as it is and easy to transition as she gets older. Bathroom is gorgeous. Son’s room is perfect, keep the bed where the crib is. Master- keep the office out of the bedroom, keep your job outside the home! A make up vanity with the side tall storage would be wonderful, never can have enough storage. I love your master. I agree that your common area should be your focus, and keeping it to neutrals like walls and floors is best for growth as your needs and tastes change.
Yes to changing the Wall paper in the camper. I think I would like two couches in the family/living room. Your playroom is beautiful but dark paint could look really nice too. Your kitchen is great as is but I also see that adding some color would be really pretty too. Thanks for sharing. I’m making some changes to my house right now so your home gave me some great ideas.
I’d love a bench seat in the dinning room and getting a new table/chairs. I love a chandelier in the dining room, not can lights.
Add additional sofa, not a sectional. I love your living room. Move out the trunk to the play room. Love both of your homes so much! I think it would be FUN to paint the living room dark and moody. If you hate it…. You can always paint it back. ❤
It’s so fun hearing everyone’s thoughts! Thanks for watching and helping us design 💕
I would keep the cabinets white and paint the wall (pigeon) instead. The cabinets look fresh and clean. You can change the colour of the wall as often as you wish.
I absolutely love the idea of updating the wallpaper in the trailer, that blue is gorgeous! I understand needed more seating in your living room, sectionals have pros and cons. Your kitchen is gorgeous. I can see wanting to paint the cabinets but I love your open shelving, I wouldn’t replace the open shelving on the peninsula, it would throw off the symmetry and close up the area around the sink. I love the chandelier above the breakfast table, I’m not a fan of can lighting above a table. I have a long wall behind my breakfast area as well and I’ve always wanted to do something there, I’ve considered vertical shiplap, bench seating and wallpaper but not sure which way to go. It’ll be interesting to see what you decide. The kids rooms are both adorable. I had to switch my son to a bed early as well as he started climbing out of his crib at 11 months. I would put his bed on the same wall as the crib. I wouldn’t paint the playroom, I love it the way it is, although I do think moving the trunk in there is a good idea. I think one thing I’d do in the living room is hide the tv cords, even if just with one of the cord casings you can buy and paint the same color as the wall. You have a gorgeous home and spent your money in all the right places.
Love the wallpaper, your mother had. I would definitely use it!
Go with the floral wallpaper in the rv
Your kitchen is so beautiful white.
I love you girls so much
I love a white kitchen and would leave it because all your accessories show well.
Go with a wood grain vent cover to add accent.
First I love the laughter it's genuine and I enjoy every bit of it. I love the kitchen as is crisp white and clean. In the dining room what about can lighting and a chandelier bench seating vertical shiplap a pop of color. Rv a yes for the blue wallpaper and yes to sconces replace. The living room trunk is a bit small and possibly another sofa if you have the room. Early on you did have a sofa and two chairs and I commented that it looked cramp. Shelby l love both of your homes it has an obtainable look that we can achieve but yet classy comfy and adorable
It’s so fun hearing everyone’s thoughts! Yes I have two large chairs and a sofa but the chairs were BIG! It was cozy but didn’t work. Thanks for watching and helping us design 💕
Yes change the wallpaper. It would be such a great match. Greenish color not the mushroom. New coffee table and move the trunk to the playroom! Also I love the idea of that bench for your dining room!
Love your style everything looks nice now. Good luck.
I like the interactive format
Love the color Pigeon!!
Beautiful inside and outside of home 😮😊
Dining room - An oriental rug would be gorgeous; perhaps paint table and/or chairs in black or a very dark grey and add a contrasting pillow to back of chairs just for a pop of color. Robert Morris pattern materials or wallpaper seems like a good match for your house - i.e., roman shade above kitchen window and/or in dining room.
Love your channel and its’ content. Your kids are precious. And you girls keep laughing! Love you guys ❤❤❤❤
Your comment made my day! Thank you so much for watching and supporting us 💕
I like light color.. I have green and my second home tan..
Your home is so beautiful! I do love the white but the pigeon might be fun in your kitchen. I love it that you guys can laugh and be silly.
Thank you!! We love to have fun 💕 life’s too short to be serious all the time lol
I painted my cabinets with four kids running around- you can do it!
That’s encouraging! I feel like projects with the kids always take extra long lol
Keep the lights in the dining room:)
Add a 2nd sofa…. The trunk coffee table looks too small for the living room. Maybe try painting the wall behind the shelves in the kitchen first vs paining the cabinets. But keep the shelves. Maybe that will give you enough color. Your house is super cute! Oh switch the wallpaper in the rv.
I think you should have the cabinet replace your open shelves, and keep the open shelves on the side by the stove! I love the mushroom colour!❤
Everything looks fantastic! Also, please share a link on the two wallpaper choices for the camper. The gold floral pattern with white background really caught my attention. Thank you
Keep the white kitchen
Wall paper in the dining room
Love the wallpaper ❣️ Hope you keep it .
Great job! Very charming and beautiful. Two minor things - the fireplace wall looks unbalanced to me without curtains around the glass door. And the flag should be framed so it’s not just tacked up there drooping.
The place has come a long way. Love it! I’m just laughing at the ‘That’s not professional joke’. I’m just wondering if professionals laugh sometimes lol. Well I love both you and moms places how it evolved into what they are now. Thanks always for great content.
Merry Christmas!
@@FarmhouseLiving same to y’all my beautiful family in Christ 🙏🏽♥️🌲
I would get rid of the western paper
I wouldn’t do another sectional in your family room. I think another sofa or 2 chairs would be good. I think the wallpaper that you have in the playroom would be fantastic in the dining room.
The wallpaper in the RV should be changed it’s not your style and sconces look too big for the space so I would change those too. Maybe add some curtains in the RV too.
I would definitely paint your cabinets in the kitchen. I like your open shelving in the kitchen. The sink is fine, I wouldn’t spend the money on it.
I think overall you might be craving some warmth in your house.
YES!! Keep it light, it’s so beautiful and bright! I would switch the table for the kids. Your son will be older in a blink so get something for him to sit on safely! Love your home, you’ve done such a great job😊No blue in the kitchen IMO. You probably shouldn’t downsize your table if you want more entertainment space as in your living room. I’m tired of all the open shelving! Ready for something fresh!
That wall paper is beautiful in that play room, why would you hang anything on it? Keep it light, the coffee table is ok.
Your home is so pretty! I like the color choices for the cabinets. I love the mushroom color. I think the large cabinet that sits on the counter is so pretty and would hold more. I would add another sofa. Seating is needed when u have people over. Plus it's nice to lay down or recline to watch tv.
It’s so fun hearing everyone’s thoughts! I’m digging the mushroom color too! Thanks for watching and helping us design 💕
I could watch you guys all day. Beautiful house!
You’re so kind! I’m so glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching 💕
Such a fun video! So many questions I almost watched again to remember them! Okay I love that I thought of some of your suggestions before you mentioned them so it confirmed my ideas! Lol. A second couch for sure. Love the velvet idea. A Colour from your wallpaper would allow a darker couch. The children’s table is so great for their legs to go under. The truck might be awkward to colour at? Love mushroom in the kitchen and your soapstone sink would look great with the darker colour!
Beautiful.
My vote is to paint the living room dark. Move the chest into the play room. Paint the kitchen cabinets the blue color. Put in the bench with cupboard. That should keep you busy.
Love your home. Yes to the new wallpaper in the camper. I like the mix of the modern but you have to look at them so find what you love. We painted our lowers a light green in our kitchen and kept the uppers white and I LOVE it. Love the banquet idea for your dining. So cute.
Ok but I do have a question…Super curious about the dimensions of your master bathroom. We have an old home and liked the layout of yours with the shower and water closet on one side and the vanity on the other. Any info would be amazing.
My vote on the kitchen is blue green color
I love that! It’s so fun hearing everyone’s thoughts! Thanks for watching and helping us design 💕
Use the floral wallpaper!!
Instead of painting the cabinets, maybe consider painting the walls (batton) in mushroom. Do that first and then if you really, really like the color, reverse and paint the cabinets in mushroom and the walls back to white. I do think it may be too white right now and needs some color. I just not sure if you want to paint your new cabinet fronts.
Keep the white kitchen!
Please where is the curtain from the living room from?
Crushed velvet?💕❤️💕
I wouldn’t put the stools next to the window. If your little guy falls off the stools you wouldn’t want him to fall into glass. Just a thought.
Your home is beautiful, Shelby. Can you tell me about the wallpaper in the playroom? It's amazing!
It’s from a company called Woodchip and Magnolia! They’re a UK company but ship here quickly! bit.ly/3s88N5O
Love everything. Especially love the wallpaper. Can you share where you purchased it? Thanks for your sharing.
Merry Christmas!
Mushroom.
i love all your ideas and homes you ladies have shown are beautiful, what is sonmething i can do in a rental where the kitchen and dining room are small but open to each other... then living room his in a separate rom I'm thinking of either painting the walls a white w accent wall a color or wallpaper... living room light grey w wood slats as accent wall thoughts
Keep white 👍😊❤️🙏
Sorry I went back and heard that they are from two pages. But which one are yours could you add a link? Thank you
Hi so pretty where did you get the small black lamp on the counter from? Thank You.
It was a gift from Stephanie of Blooming ivy Lane. I’m sure an estate sale find!😊
Velvet sofa
The paint questions.... I have November Rain by Benjamin Moore throughout my home. "A comforting light gray misted with a touch of green" That's what the website says, but to me it's green, looks beautiful against my white kitchen. I wish I could share an image!
I love your curtains so much but I couldn't find anything about them in the description below. Maybe I missed it. Where did you get them from?
Oh I totally forgot to add the link! Here you go - rstyle.me/+cFxz3nlNyxAb1DAzaaDxnA I LOVE them so much! They made a huge impact in my living room. Here's the details of what I ordered - Liz Collection/Grey Beige/Pinch Pleat/Unlined/Memory Trained 50" wide 90" Length 💕
Where is that wallpaper from
Dining I have a huge fake plant on my dining table as I do not have a light..
Your husband is so cute!
Lol I agree! 💕🤗
Get rid of the wall paper in the trailer.
Keep kitchen as is. Don’t make a kids playroom dark and moody, wait til they teens and turn into theatre room. The stools are too high for kids to sit on. Definitely change wallpaper in caravan. Swap coffee tables in playroom and living room.
Your house is gorgeous as is. Please don’t paint the kitchen or change the wallpaper in the playroom.
