This is my favorite type of videos to watch. I don't know how long or how hard it is to create and edit these kinds of videos, but I appreciate them so much. I love your a creativity. I don't know how you both do it where everything you do looks amazing. You have the midas touch! Me...I am a school teacher and if I can just clean my house and declutter it I am happy. I never even have enough time. Nothing about my surroundings is intentional. Thank you so much. I watch your videos while I work and I tell myself someday I will get it together😔.
Still laughing at the pony and galloping! I remember telling my dad to take out his pony wall and he argued with me but the next time I was over to visit it was gone!

Every detail is perfect! And I love that you and your mom collaborate on the ideas.. it will be fun to see both your mood board & your mom's board for the area you said you are planning & possibly having us vote on! Your ideas of using what you have and tweaking them with new design details (*counters cabinets etc) will help so many people to update their homes in a more affordable way. Love love love both your homes.. and hoping you go viral so you can do the 2nd story & barn one day!!

Shelby this is so stunning! I love all of your choices and it is hard to pick a favorite. I think the fireplace may be my favorite because I love vintage things. It all flows so well and looks like such a happy and beautiful home.

Love your updates. I respectfully disagree with getting rid of all pony walls. We have one when you enter our front door. Kept it there because otherwise the entry feels like an apartment entry. It’s also nice because it gives a space near a bay window for a cozy chair on the other side. Otherwise you would be opening the door for a first view of a back of a chair. Not as open floor plans are making their comeback.

I loved this video and all the before and afters. Renovations take a lot of hard work and thought. We have lived in our home for 36 years and did a different project about every other year. It takes time and money and perseverance! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Hi ladies I continually watch your videos over and over I'm your biggest fan. I'm always borrowing both your Ideas. Now I wish I had did the vertical shiplap in my kitchen. Yours look great. May I ask are your kitchen sconces hard wire and I love the oops new hood range it's not as heavy looking as the original and I can see your beautifully style shelves

Thank you so much Joyce! The film crew used the living room primarily but I think they filmed a bit in the playroom as well. They didn't mention when it would go live but I'll be checking regularly if I see it up 💕
My BEST pediatrician says to keep them in the crib till they're three~for their safety and your privacy!

Would love to see you feature farmhouse living with women of color…they do exist. Otherwise, your channel is so fun and features all things a homeowner looking for decor inspiration could dream of.
I totally know they exist. This is my personal home but we do love to share tours of local homeowners interested in sharing their homes. I honestly am just now noticing that I haven't shared any women of color in these tours but I actually have reached out to a few that said they weren't ready to share their homes and have projects left to be done. I will definitely follow up. My goal is to show homes of all different sizes, styles, and budgets to show viewers that creating a home you love is possible. Thanks for the comment.
