I saw several recipes for vegan Pozole. Yours is the best & most complete. Lately I am becoming intolerant of dairy products, this & other recipes on your TH-cam channel will come handy. Also my vegan daughter would love it when she visits us next weekend. Thank you.

Thank you so much, I hope you enjoyed my pozole. I try to stay as close to the authentic flavors but of course without the meat. Also even if one of my recipes is vegetarian I always provide a vegan alternative. Thanks and happy to have you here.

In my family it was always menudo for Christmas but honestly I think pozole is much more flavorful. This will be the second time making vegan pozole and this time it's for Christmas. This will definitely become a holiday tradition for this vegan and when I get the hang of it and find a recipe I like it'll become a staple in my dinner recipes. Can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks!

This is my go to pozole recipe!! I find the chile ratios to be really good. Ive reccomended this video to so many ppl bc its so flavorful and amazing. I've started adding in rinsed jackfruit along with the mushrooms to add more meat texture for my nonvegan friends. Its a very adaptable recipe if you prefer the taste of some chiles to others you can always adjust the ratio however u want. Love it! Thank u!

I appreciate your channel btw, it's very hard to find plant based Mexica meals which is ridiculous because our ancestors the Aztecs thrived on a Plant based diet. since our people have been colonized they think everything HAS to have meat. For example the first ever tamales were made from chilli sauce, squash, corn, and other native veggies no meat at all and for the masa mix only water and corn. No oils no lard ..🤦🏽‍♀️

Hi Ana Rosa! You could try making it with jackfruit or soy and/or maybe add some of her favourite veggies. I like to add the mushrooms because it helps to give that "meaty" umami taste. Enjoy and hope you can create a version you're daughter will love.
P.S. You may want to tone down the spicy chiles for her if she's a young child.
