Thank you for doing this comparison Sal. It's cool to see all 4 metals together, same size, same coin, so we can tell the difference in size and color. Well done.
Greetings Sal! I always appreciate your point of view. I put most of my extra money this month into topping up my pandemic preps but still found a little for precious metals 😉 Hope you are doing well my friend. 🤗
Every metal, as well as every element, has its uses, I think. There are just so many things in the world nowadays, and that requires more and more material, of all types.
As a stacker of gold I really believe it's important to understand and stack all of the precious metals on the patient goal of accumulating more gold. Imagine all the gold you could own if you bought palladium in 2015 and traded it 2 weeks ago for gold. It does add up over time .
Salivate, this was a very informative video about gold, silver, palladium and platinum. I knew a lot about gold and silver but not about platinum and palladium. Salivate, I was wondering about the other members of the platinum family of elements( which includes gold, silver, platinum and palladium) : iridium, osmium and rhodium. We don't hear a lot about these other members of the platinum family. Do you know if there is any demand for these other metals and if there are coins, bars or rounds made of iridium, osmium and rhodium?
What a nice show today Sal. Thanks for the review. I have lots of friends and family which are expressing interest in precious metals recently. I am going to share this with them
Got a question would a 1oz gold bar and a 1oz platinum bar be the same be the same dimensions? Particularly a pamp bar , but any coin or bar of the same style.
Very nice video, like the maples. It is crazy how the prices and limited supply have changed recently. But lets face it every government in the worlds is printing extra paper money )-:
Platinum is speculation, if you believe the price will rise more? I bought a in Mar 2017 I could of finally broke even last week now trading low again. I bought more 2018 then it had dipped lower. Platinum and Silver have very high premiums so the price has to rise a lot for you to break even. Compare their sell and buy prices on the bullion sites, I divide the two to get the %. I will hold the platinum for many years I believe, but if I had bought gold Mar 2017 I would be up 35% today compared to down 4%. I believe as a novice you should invest in Gold first, Silver second if you wish to speculate. I wish I had.
DoThe Dishes Nice. I bought Friday and yesterday but I don’t believe we’ve seen the bottom of the stock market OR this current pullback in metals. There’s a 5 gram .999 gold bar at the pawnshop down the street; I might go buy that this afternoon.
Those metals are all great choices for investors but their are so many other metals that are available in both coin and ingot form for investment that pay as good if not better, I admit that some are very expensive and yet there are others that are relatively inexpensive and readily available. I think with proper research and forethought they are very interesting and secure for profit and stacking enjoyment.
Hi Sal. They also make 10K which is 41.7 % gold and even 9 K which is 37.5%. 10K is pretty common , I have seen it. Never heard of 9 K til I looked it up.
I noticed at the end of the video the platinum coin is larger than the gold, why would that be if Platinum is more dense than gold? the gold coin is .9999 and the platinum is .9995 but I doubt that would have enough impact on the volume size. Anybody know?
I add sterling to my stack often. Silver wear and jewelry, also 90 percent. I can afford much gold. An occasionally do wrong and buy a gram or 10th if I can. Would buying slicked gold coins and plated jewelry a better route? Being as the fractional bullion rounds and coins are pricey
Because of the upcoming crash, I will very likelly be able to get some Platinum and maybe some Palladium too. Really looking forward to both. I wonder why you left out Rhodium though, that one completes the 5 primary precious metal group.
Thirty-fifth. Hi Sal. Of your four, beautiful MLs, three are white and one is yellow. Silver is the brightest white and gold is mellow. *TYU#82* RATED: BRIGHTWITE/MELLOWYELLO
I'm curious SalivateMetal where are you getting this figure I hear you using? That Palladium is however many times rarer than Platinum which is however many times rarer than gold. From the official sources I've seen, that come from wikipedia who gets it from scientific studies, most of them agree that platinum and gold are the rarer than Palladium with Palladium having a more similar abundance to silver than gold. Osmium, Rhodium, Platinum, and Gold are the most rare by these metrics. Honestly, this logic leads me to believe that Palladium is just overpriced because of it's belonging to the Platinum group family, and it's coloration of alloy with gold lending to it's use in wedding rings. XD it is literally 2 atomic numbers away from silver and yet silver commands such a trash price in comparison especially considering that like I said, it's similar in abundance to silver InEarth'sCrust.
There are several sources that say palladium is more rare. I'm not where I can post links. But perhaps usgs has data on it. This is rarity for above ground stocks
Okay. Although that does stand for Us geological survey, I'd like to hope they're pretty good at what they're job describes them as. Obviously there's a point past which humans can't be 100% certain of the rarity on their own world, and what that relevancy means as far as it's rarity in the universe at large, but from what I've seen it's not even close, Palladium is far less rare than Platinum and Gold, granted gold has been mined extensively in antiquity and modern times effectively reducing it's parts per million but not necessarily making it rarer. This and technically scientists theorize that inside the planet's core there are a lot of dense PGMs and gold mixed with the iron nickel mantle and core. XD we just can't very well get at that sweet nectar can we?

They made silver 40 percent harder last year. But unlike all others, when they applied the hardening application process silver didn't lose an electrical conductivity. All the others that have been hardened with any process, lose all or almost all electrical conductivity
I don't see visually the difference between silver, platinum, and palladium, they have the same color. I know silver and platinum, but palladium is not that precious of a metal, and I don't care how much more rare it is.
