For divers. The air filter is rated for use 15 hours before needing filter service. That is 900 minutes of run time on the compressor. A full size scuba tube is approx. 7 or 11 liters. (427 - 671 c.inches) If the Ninja bottle is 90 c.in the filling time of 7 1/2 minutes a scuba tank ranges from 35 to 55 minutes.
He state you don't have to baby sit it with auto shut off. OK so are you suggesting it has an auto condensate valve that will auto drain every fifteen minutes of operation as well? If not you have to baby sit this compressor or risk having condensate pooling up in the bottom of your condensing tower when filling larger volumes such as an 80 CF SCUBA tank. By the looks of it from the video it seems there is only a simple manual valve a the bottom of the condensing dryer tower with a hose coming off it.
Great job Rick I just hope people will not ruin their expensive air rifles just to save a few bucks. Finally it taks you to hit the nail on the head with dry air and quality air the cost of a repair on your air rifle cant put a price on that thats why I am saving for one now. Oil and compressed air don't mix well plus water from condensation a cheep compressor, might do this in your air rifle or pistol for me i would not risk this with a bargan basement compressor. Also this is a bargain for someone who scuba dives as i do may I add. Only thing to figure in is the payoff point, how many fills before you make your money back, not long at the price per fill now, consider time travled back and forth wear on car or truck/milage costs factor all that in, plus you can charge your buds and fill their tanks. Don’t forget tell the Mrs that when your tank is filling you can start to work on her honey do list, that should help you to get her to open the purse strings. Keep the secreat to yourself that also translates to more time in the field. yes i want one as soon as i save up the money.
Hey there John. You are 100% correct on all the above. I bit the bullet on my first compressor. It was a custom built 2CFM compressor built by James Sheldon. It was about $1800 and still runs OK today. It's built from surplus military parts. It runs hot and loud but filled my tanks one after another, after another. These KompTec Compressors are WAY better. Yes they are a lot more money. But you get what you pay for and the kicker for me is how easy they are to service. They have been building these in one shape or another for decades. They have the process down. When you talk about SCUBA compressors, I asked for a quote from my local scuba shop on a bauer compressor with auto shutoff. The quote came back at over 6K. I'm sure there was a lot of margin in there, but still.. At just under $3K, I think these are a great buy for the serious airgunner. Cheers AGPS
Nice Compressor Rick. Good Video and Info... Wish you had mentioned price or maybe I just missed it... How would you compare this to the 110volt Daystate Compressor with a filter on it from AOA??? OR maybe even the Alpha-Carette Compressor w/filter from ATPlus??? Thanks... Good Day Sir'
There's a link to the unit in the video description. Price will change based on the conversion rate of the Euro and also shipping from Germany. So, better to leave the pricing on the website vs state a price in the video. This is NOT the daystate compressor, although that is a good compressor. In 110v it only does about 1 CFM. This does 2.5 CFM.. it takes 220V however which can be a challenge for some. It's worth it in the long run for the lower amp draw and more efficient motor. The filter is also different as it can produce breathing quality air. Price however, is not that different from the 110v daystate. This unit is running about $2950 +/- a bit.. The Daystate 110v is $2700ish ?? and I'm not sure if the daystate has autoshutoff which this does. Cheers Rick
You didn't mention the price either for the ones you named.Go figure they all are high priced just like the guns. Both of yous get a thumbs down for wasting my time.
Chinese made compressors seem so unreliable to me after two warranty claims for the same machine I owned. I asked for my money back. I've lost all confidence in Chinese made compressors. I'll stick with my 3 large scuba tanks for the moment 🇦🇺 This German made machine should be reliable
Another thing not to be over critical but it is a very bad practice to be using a beverage container with it original label still on to be collecting contaminated fluids. People have mistakenly ingested hazardous fluids before due to this oversight. Especially when your posting a TH-cam video and trying to market this product. You defiantly would not grab an air riffle and point the barrel towards your eye on a TH-cam video. To the point that your marketing to small shops that could bring in seasonal help that could be trained on proper use of servicing air fills then they see this video and think oh yes my soda bottle would be a great idea to collect the oil saturated condensate. Don't set you small business up to any liabilities, its not worth it and I even suggest you go back and use TH-cam blurb feature and blurb out that soda bottle. Hopefully you take this in good regards as I do not intend to flame you or come off poorly.
Hey there Jeff. You points are taken.. couple of things.. The coke bottle, I simply pull the label off before dealing with the disposal. It has to be properly disposed of via a waste oil recycling. You don't just toss the bottle out as is. But we'll get to that in a later video. As for the "baby sitting." You need to check the condensate drain every 25 minutes not 15. It can actually go much longer, but if it's very humid, you need to check it every 25 minutes. It can be fitted with an auto-condensate system as an add on. Cheers AGPS
I mentioned those options in the video and have demonstrated them many times on my other channels (th-cam.com/users/airgunweb) The Air Venturi compressors are great for folks on a budget or that don't want to spend this much on a full blown commercial unit. Cheers AGPS
I dont see these anywhere, granted its 2022. Air Venturi all over the place though.

Compared to the daystate lc110 ?
My guess was $4,000 so it was listed at 3 thousand and it's on sale for 2300.00 ok. I'd have to save up for awhile.
The best 👍👍👍
That's a nice pcp compressor, awsome vidios

You need to take this video down, as this compressor is no longer available, and your web site link goes to a "page not found" error message.
Too much talking....it doesn't show the compressor in action. Poor Review... Next please!

Good God Jeff, you would drive me insane.
Jeff is correct, i wouldn't believe unless i witnessed it for myself which i did and it wasn't pretty.
Need to show one normal people can afford
