3 hours of training was NOT enough to pass this test? (ADI part 2)

  • In this vid Mohammed a trainee driving instructor or PDI sits an advanced mock driving test, an ADI part 2 mock test. In total he's had 3 hours of training with an instructor. Will it be enough? The trend seems to be that i get a lot oPDI's getting in contact, wanting to sit an ADI part 2 mock, when they have had barely any training. It can be a good way of finding out exactly how much work you need to put in but its certainly not normal from a training perspective.
    Interested in having a mock on the channel or privately get in touch.

    Another great video. Love the way they are put together with faults clearly indentified at the time for the viewer and thoroughly reviewed with the driver (and us). I agreed with most of the fault feedback you gave. Personally i would have been a bit tighter with the mini roundabouts.

      @@GetWheelDriving I've tried looking at the 5 or 6 test centres within about 50 miles, I was checking almost daily, now I've given up and just waiting and hoping.
      I did catch a news article somewhere that they're struggling to get adi examiners, I believe that it said there are only 60 nationwide, and that they're concentrating on just getting learner test waits down at the minute.

    Hi, would you recommend commentary on my part 2. I'm getting mixed messages. examiners do or don't like it.
    Thank you

    • @GetWheelDriving
      @GetWheelDriving  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It’s not officially required for a part 3… Ultimately the examiner is concerned with how you drive. I’d say you can use it but at the same time they may also think you should be able to drive high standard without it. I would suggest practising doing your commentary internally. You should be able to do both. I know you can do both. Go get it done!

    Question, regarding the meeting traffic situation at the beginning. You mentioned it would be possible to reverse, would you fail for reversing in a part 2 test ? How many times it’s allowed reversing before it’s a fail ?

    • @GetWheelDriving
      @GetWheelDriving  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn’t quite work like that. Ideally you will only reverse twice for both reverse manoeuvres. If you need to reverse because you have made a mistake, it will be noted. Depending on the severity of the issue will depend on the fault levied against you. If however a situation beyond your control arises and you need to deal with it, you would be expected to do so. Real world and real world driving. I hope that helps.
