Your videos are great. Jess surely will pass in the nearest future. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes at the end of the day :). Hope she'll pass
Great response by the examiner when the incident with the motorcycle happened at 18:30 My first day driving after passing I was approaching a zebra crossing in heavy traffic and happened to be moving forward at the same speed as someone crossing the road such that they were in my A-Pillar the entire time. Had my dad not screamed in my ear I would have no clue and would have hit them, albeit at about 3mph but still, not good. Learnt always to look around properly from then on.
At around the 6 Minute mark when she pulls over to the left for the first time, she parks right at the junction, would that not be a fault? I am taking my test in Hendon tomorrow , super excited, and can't wait to try! :)
You’re right it’s not ideal to pull up within 10m from a junction. In this instance there are no double yellow lines and nothing to indicate that you can’t pull up there. However try to avoid doing so. Good luck!!! Go get it done!
@@GetWheelDriving has she ah that great she was a good driver you could see that .. pressure does mad things to people as you have gone into, but she’s probably relaxed now driving about .. that route though makes out Liverpool routes look easy 😂
Do you mean reference points? She’s not really using them. This method teaches you to understand the space, which is what most experienced drivers do. However she is using about 30-35degree angle. Apart from that I got her to look more at the vehicle in front rather than the wing mirror. It usually gives some quite interesting and positive results. Are you still struggling with parking?
@@GetWheelDriving My reference points don't seem to work every single time. So I am trying to rely on more 'understanding the space' method. I do full lock left, then right, straigthen up, then reverse 1 car length. It does usually work, but didn't when I practices in different cars over the weekend.
@@serinafaull1068 it’s why I’m not a fan of references points. Forget the reverse the one car length bit and assess the space instead. When you use a ref point like that you stop actually looking at what’s happening. Remember your perspective is about half way from front to back of your car. Air on the side of caution as you can always correct. Pay attention to how close the car you’re using to park on is in relation to curb. Do this a few times and you might find it works.
That route was tough in all honesty , great experience for Jess
Seriously tough route. She did well all things considered!!

Always a good idea to look around the pillar! Thank you for sharing your experience it’s always helpful to others. 😀
These videos are extremely helpful, thank you!
You’re welcome! 🙌
What are the rules in terms of a controlled coast? I heard and read conflicting information.
Bless her.. nerves just kicked in too much

It looks like you figured it out with your test pass! 🙌😊

I’ll do a vid on it! If you’re a PDI I do have a PDI chat group you could join on WhatsApp… message me on Instagram if you’re interested.
The first pull over on her left was far to close to the junction

It sure is Danny!! She’s happy now long gone now, passed her test. 👍

What method does Jess use to parallel park?
