    For someone who had recurring skin tags, and had opted for the painful electrocautery procedure to zap them each time, the one advice from a TH-camr doctor that worked in preventing my skin tags from ever developing again, is to go on a ketogenic diet, and eliminate sugars and processed carbs from my diet. Through the decades that I was developing skin tags and zapping them every few years, I was apparently progressively becoming insensitive to insulin, that is, I was headed towards getting T2DM (tyoe 2 diabetes mellitus, or adult onset diabetes). According to the doctor, skin tags could be a symptom of hyperinsulinemia. In my case, that was accurate. Fortunately, I was able to reverse my T2DM through keto and fasting, and my skin tags have not returned.

    I have many skin tags. Once I fell asleep at the public library. When I woke up there was a blind man reading my neck in Braille.

    Tie a piece of floss around the skin tag in a knot. Make sure it's around the base of the skin tag. Cut the excess floss and that's it. Wait a few days and it will fall off for almost free. Keep in mind that there is an underlying reason you have skin tags. They are usually related to insulin resistance. If the problem isn't fixed, new skin tags will form.

    • @Mean_Jean
      @Mean_Jean ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Overweight people are more prone to having them, it's not always insulin related. A high rubbing area are prone to them too

  • @sellen2u

    Skin tags can be a sign of Diabetes or Insulin resistance. My body told me there was a problem before the Dr. did.

    I had my doctor remove one from under my armpit where my shirts were rubbing. She had to numb the area and she used a scalpel. She actually cut down about 1mm and used silver nitrate to stop the bleeding. She just went ahead and removed it when she was removing a mole from my chest for no cost. Pros? It was free and now it’s gone. Con? I have a 1mm x 2mm x1mm hole under my armpit. Lol

    I used tooth paste on a band aid for a week constantly and now warts gone gone ! Next will go 👍 after skin tags! Tea tree oil on a band aid works well on bad blemishes/ moles too! Be patient and let the bad skin fall off by itself when u wash up or shower ! Don't pick at it! I spread the tooth paste and tea tree oil well soaked on the bad aid I also used first aid tape to secure the band aid from being loose!

    You can soak a long hair from a woman's head in water then tie it around a skin tag. The hair will shrink as it dries, the tag will die and fall off. I've done it several times. You want to tie a pre floppy tie in the hair then put it around the skin tag. You will tug a little on the tag as your wife ties a knot in the hair at the base of the tag. Double knot it.

    If a little bit of blood, doesn't bother you. When they are tiny, if you can catch them between your thumb nail, and another finger nail, you can pop them right out(base of neck area anyway). Cheap too.

    ❤ This is the new one.
    I wonder if different size bands use different size applicator?
    I have used the older type applicator and bands on about 6 tags under arm pits.
    Some of the larger ones took up to 9 days. Pain free.
    I did try buying them at Walgreens but they did not carry them at that time. I got mine at Amazon. 👍👍

      @@Blitzy279 hi there... ohhhhhhhhh okay that sounds like what happened to me on one particular mole also. But I fixed it. Either laser pen it off one more time or if its actually a scar instead like mine was I fixed it by have you heard of a microneedle??? I punctured my microneedle pen into the scar twice a week spaced out for 3 weeks and by doing that tricks you're brain to send collagen to the area and it cleared it right up for me and my scar was pretty noticeable to begin with brother. My scar came about because I had burned down the mole too deeply from the laser pen and went beyond the skins collagen layers. Microneedling is the answer my friend. But like I said if the mole is coming back then give it another zap with the pen and if that time leaves a scar then hit it with microneedle.!

    Great video just looked on Amazon UK and it sells for £19.95 with Prime so i could have one by tomorrow. I have skin tags around my groin area, armpits and neck and as we have the NHS here it doesn't cost anything for my doctor to remove one, but it's alot of freezing to do so i would rather do it in the privacy of my own home.
    My doctor did say that i could get a piece of cotton and tie it around the skin tag and it will fall off as you are cutting off the circulation to the tag, but it's too fiddly to loop it over and i have tried it on one tag and it does work, but as i said trying to loop it over the tag is fiddly. This TagBand is basically doing just the same as the cotton, so thanks for the helpful video i'm off to order it on Amazon.
    Stay Safe,
    Barry (ENG)

      @BargainBountyHunter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Barry! I've heard that it can work with thread or a piece of long hair as well. I imagine anything that will cut the blood flow off will work. Like you the applicator aspect is what sold me, instead of awkwardly trying to tie something around it.

    Skin tags are usually a sign of insulin resistance. You are probably eating too many carbs. Start monitoring your blood glucose and get an insulin resistance test. A lot of times skin tags are a precursor to type 2 diabetes. You might want to limit sugar and carbs, stop snacking and do intermittent fasting. Also stop drinking soda, alcohol and juices and only drink water. Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes are reversible, but you have to go on a low carb/ high fat diet like KETO, eliminate snacking and exercise. Get a yearly physical and talk with your doctor. You certainly don't want type 2 diabetes or metabolic syndrome with a fatty liver. Good luck. Health is everything.
