Yeah his music is great, but I've met him many times during his earlier part of his career he was actually a horrible person with a giant ego , alot of my friends agreed with that . Doesn't take away from his beautiful music though, he is breathtaking with his talent . I hope he's just became more humble .

the years passed quickly, 10 years have flown by, and I remember every moment I listened to this song with melancholy and tenderness. things happened in my life important things good and bad things and this song keeps touching my soul here in Brasil, the america, new multipolar world. I would love to see a revisited version of "Sometimes". I feel like this album in it's entirety was legendary but the maturity and intracity that this version was played with tells the story of how much Dallas has grown since that album and I would love to hear all of these songs in a more recent style of Dallas' play style.
I just had to put my best friend of the last 15 years to sleep.. and oh how it hurts. But I think she loved city and colour as much as I do.. used to serenade her to this song as well as others but when I put her down yesterday, I played this and serenaded her as I held her and felt her take her last breath … I’ve never ever felt pain as much as I did yesterday. She was with me through all the trials and tribulations, held no judgment or resent no ulterior motive.. a gift that more need to experience, 💔

The sound of his angelic voice, the sound of his harmonic guitar, it all fuzed to create something so special for myself and his audience. As I became older I developed an understanding of his lyric, as I started to experience the things he had sung about. His songs provide a sense of security, knowing that Dallas can understand the things I have had to endure,even if he doesn’t know of my existence. Even still as a 16 year old, I listen to his songs to sleep on an Amazon Alexa Dot. Him and his songs will always have a place in my heart. To me he is the best, and always will be. Legends never die, and he truly is a legend in my world. His music is powerful enough to give me the courage to keep on with life. His music that was once only a lullaby to me became something that I can fully understand and cherish as I got older.
This song means so much to me Dallas. If you reading this brother, just know.. If it was ever a goal of yours to reach an individuals soul on another level, just know goal accomplished. Legends live forever.
