Hey man, great tutorial here but I have a question. I tried to download The Amazing Spider-Man (8GB) but when I want to put the game on my USB (FAT32 and 64GB of stockage) it says that the files can't be put on there because they are too heavy. What can I do ?
From Black man to another. You're a smart brotha! I tried with this other guy named Blaine he was thorough , but only knew about the FTP file transfer. For some people's files don't trnafer due to individuals internet connection and zip files not being extracted. This was the best tutorial that i've gotten thus far.You got a sub brotha! for the people that has a issue with playstation store you have to sighn in go in account settings and activate ps3 games then restart system then u good to go on all games

For anyone that has the problem when they launch the game it says renew liscense what you need to do is first unistall the game go login to playstation once your logged in your game should still be on the package manager network content section so install it and then there you go if you need any help leave me a comment ill be glad to help i had the same issue 😀

when you go to download the games if it keeps giving you an error RENAME THE PACKAGE WITH NO SPACES OR SYMBOL LIKE "©®™" OR IT WILL NOT WORK!!!

@@poiinbu in NoPayStation? Yeah I couldn't select it like I did with the DLC tsv, so I just copied the address and filename of the PS3 tsv and added it manually. Works fine!

are you supposed to be signed into a psn account to finish installing? I'm getting "this content can be used if you renew the license in Playstation@store" when starting a game. I copied the Exdata over and the games show up like they're ready to play.
That depends on your console and game. If it's the PSN version, yes.
I had the same problem and fixed it by signing in, going to account management, system activation. Hope this helps.

Good tutorial but I can't get this to work I followed the instructions 100% and went threw all steps and my games always install directly to my ps3 under the package manager folder and not into the Playstation Network Content folder and whenever I click the game it tells me I need to restore the license and I have no idea why. I literally deleted everything and refollowed all steps 3 times and for some reason, when I click install there are always 2 copies of my packages from different locations it's really weird. I wish your guide also showed how to install a normal ps3 game and not only a PSX since I can't tell where the folder is being installed from :(

For THAT - be careful. Make sure the EX data folder and rap files are there. IF THEY ARE - first go to settings, disable automatic updates. Then sign into PSN - after than log out and try again! And thank you for the nice kind words rara!!!

Second, I'm having the same issue-- It wants me to sign in but when I try to sign in it tells me I need to do a system update to sign in. I already disabled automatic updates. Okay so in case anyone sees this, I figured out my issue -- I had to update the custom firmware. There are videos for it if you type "Updating your custom firmware on a Jailbroken PS3" I deleted and reinstalled Rebug Lite and webMAN then my game worked. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks! I would re-install, it MAY be the emulation as well - but usually not. Login to psn one more time, and then log out and try to play.
