I spent about 5 days doing it here and there and taking my time with it, there is alot of taking it in and out so have someone to help you lower it into position You could do it in the weekend easily if you keep at it

Hey, so you can still use the standard seatbelts with the gcr3?
Yeah absolutly! The bar has a slot in the tower mount for the seatbelt to run though so 100%
Do you know the actual size of the seatbelt tower top hats? My car doesn't have the OEM ones so might need to have some made
Loads of mx5 places will stock them so just get some on order autolink always have tonnes and for next to free too
