- Time to familiarize your self with the immersion suit.
When you join your vessel check on the size of the immersion suit which is most probably located in your cabin.If not there check on the Lifesaving and Firefighting plan and try to find a green icon showing the immersion suit.Then try it on and familiarize with the donning of the immersion suit try both ways standing up and the other sitting down on the deck.
When possible gather on a training day at the pool and perform actual technics that may be used to survive at sea.
The suit provides to the user the best warmth, protection possible, even when operating in temperature ranges around the freezing point.7.0 mm neoprene material, foam filled pillow provides buoyancy, heavy-duty harness for helicopter lift-up, large breast pocket, excellent performance in medium water temperatures, fulfills all SOLAS requirements.

@@nickthesailorman360 can you tell me how is the engine room of any cargo ship (50-60 meters motor ship) because I want to scale the interior of a ship. If you become Greek to understand ;-)
@@Nautikos986 Good morning, first it depends on the type of Engine and its auxiliary equipment.
@@nickthesailorman360 I do not know much about ships, the ship I want to know is not very new (it is one of the small merchant ships built by the British from 1940-1990) the engine it has will be compared to a : 4Cyl engine. Atlas oil. 2SCSA 566shp which had the wreck of Zakynthos (I do not want this engine I just want to know about a ship in these dimensions 50-60 meters :)

Does it get wet in the suit aside from persperation?
haha yes it can get wet depending on what temperature of water you will jump in to.
