I remember coming home after 4th of July in L.V. and I felt so sick that desert heat is no joke I literally didn't feel better until I I felt the ocean breeze lol. Felt mainly like my body was drained.

Excellent advice guys. The pools are a great idea but also wear sandals (bare feet get burned!) and cover up your phone (it will overheat and not function). Safer to go out at night anyway and more fun!

I've been to LV four times and every time was in the middle of summer. Here's what we do. First, you go to a local store and buy a case of water. You don't want to buy individual water bottles at the resort for $10 per bottle. We would also wake up in the morning around 9 or 10, go have breakfast and go do activities or explore. Come back to the room about 2pm and take a nap until evening. Then go out for the night. Just a way we beat the heat. FYI, the lowest temperature we saw when we were there last July was 91 at midnight. 😮
Yes!!! Great advice on the water! We drive in and bring a bunch of bottled water with us. But if I flew, I’d do the same. We have also done a little pool time and done a recharge nap to prepare for nights. Those afternoon naps are a saver!!!

I try to stay on the east side of the strip during the day because when walking it is easy to go in and out of the casinos to cool off. By the way, Alexxa's or Bon Ami might be great places for a video one of these days. That area really is a great sunset dinner place to people watch and see the fountains. Of course I have no idea if they would let you openly film for long.
That’s pro level planning there Jim! Maybe we’ll get a brunch video at those spots! Get out early before the sun destroys us!
My Oldest Son moved to Vegas in 2020 and He said, in the Summer He woke up when it was 100 and went to bed when it was 100 no joke
I believe it! We get hot in California, but it cools off at night at least. I love warm nights, but 100 is too hot!
To be honest, water bottles, wet bandana (keeps your head cool), & leaving bed unmade through out the day are my ideas to stay cool in summer heat. Of course you can go to casino or indoor as options.
October to May is the only time I go to Vegas, May is a Maybe

I have lived in Vegas for almost 20 years now I moved from Connecticut and I have great memories here and I met my wife here but these summers I cannot do anymore. I have to find a second house somewhere else lol

I fell out last summer, June 2nd, inside Ceasars. We were coming from Treasure Island. Wasn't even drinking alcohol. Paramedics had to come. I didn't have to go to the hospital, but it took me about an hour or so to be recovered inside of Cheesecake Factory. Staying hydrated is soooo important. 😔

I do enjoy hot weather, but it gets too hot! Pools never get too warm, thankfully. They’re quite refreshing!

Water with Himalayan salt is what I do. It helps replace the minerals that evaporate and drain you in that desert oven. It's not a miracle cure, but it sure helps you survive it all.

Some great tips to beat the heat🔥. With regards to daytime slot play, have you noticed fewer cocktail servers on the floor or is it just me? And those mega resort pools creep me out. I have seen those 20 something guys and gals consuming more volume of liquids than is humanly possible and never ever leave the water all day☢🚯🚱! Just sayin'. What kind of 🐔💩is that?
Oh yeah, if I’m in a pool I have to really not think about it. It’s total with all those and never getting out!

Pedialyte works. For big babies and little babies alike. No joke. If you plan on drinking morning till night a few bottles of this does the trick.

Yep, Summers are brutal!!! At least there’s no sun out at 2 am but 105 is 🤮 at that hour! They have been introducing more night swimming, which might actually be perfect! 😂

The first time I went to Vegas in 2020 I walked from the oyo to the fashion mall in a solid black Tshirt without water 😆 I instantly regretted it but I bought some water for the walk back but everytime I go during the heat I buy waters before I leave the hotel I learned my lesson
