Way back in the olden times manufacturer use to pre-wash cotton and whatever fabrics they were working with before then cutting and sewing the material. If you find something that both says "100% cotton" AND says "handwash only, line dry" that usually indicates you are buying a garment where the fabric mill dyed, wove together (or spun/knit), printed onto the fabric and then sold it onto the Designer / Manufacturer (either or; sometimes the designers ask the manufacturer to source the material for them, sometimes the designer brings the exact fabric they want to the factory) ... AND THEN the manufacturer didn't pre-wash it but went straight to cutting and sewing. This happens now a days for two reasons; 1) to save money by not paying for the water and worker's time & 2) To get a better green score, because now they are using zero water in the clothes making process. This does not mean you should avoid clothes labeled like this, it's just important to know that it means you need to account for shrinkage. I typically plan for shrinkage if I see this label and the garment is 100% a natural fiber. The more polyester something is the less likely any shrinkage will happen. You will also notice less shrinkage in materials like Rayon or Tencel, because all "wood fiber" fabrics do include some plastic as a strengthening component.
I think the green cowboy boots would look really cute with your nyc apple baby tee to tie the green in! With either a white flowy skirt or your darker-wash denim skirt
I think you should go the other way with the green boots. Can you try the colorful cardi with a denim skirt and green boots? I just think that the green boots with plain one tone clothes is too stark and when you wear some pattern with it it becomes more cohesive. Mixing it with patterns or different colors can actually done down the boots if that makes sense? The eye goes to the whole outfit instead of the bright green boots on your feet.

I see potential in lots of the pieces for some flips! Even if they’re not working right now, as is, you’ve got the material to make a “new” used piece. Have the cow dress made into a top. The pink trousers are cute but if they’re not you-you, I wouldn’t get rid of them because you can always dye them down the line. The denim skirt I love as is and think it’s works perfectly as a transition piece for summer to fall and fall to winter. If it doesn’t fit, maybe cut your losses and give it to a friend who WILL wear it and not let it stress you out.

Denim is very difficult to sew unless you have a heavy duty sewing machine. You go through a ton of needles. Just a thought. I loved the concept of this video. ❤ And I loved the denim shorts and shirt look with the green boots.
I am a lover of Converse. I own 27 pairs of actual Converse and 5 pairs of dupes. I like to embroider them with flowers, poodles, sheep, etc. Every time you style something with your Converse, I think the outfit looks fantastic! I especially like the pink pants with the blue striped T. I also love the granny square cardigan. I am on the hunt now.
Dying your clothes would have been such a great point! You talked a lot about not liking the print or not liking the color & dying them would solve the problem with still keeping the silhouette & fit you love! :) Rit dye is pretty cheap at Micheal's!

I think the green cowboy boots would be incredible in an entire monochromatic look! However, based on the colours that look harmonious on you, you might be a Summer season of some kind and this might be why this particular intense brightness of green stands out so much on you when you pair it with the soft, light denim that looks so good on Summers.

With the green boots and really everything, I think the more comfortable you feel with them in a couple of outfits, the more you would get use to them and come up with more ideas and they’d become more neutral
With the light pink pant you could do that cow print top again, zebra print top, cheetah print, and you could do all the pastel color tops as well as the dark color ones too.

I think that cow dress needs to become a shirt. It’s just so much more wearable. Sweater vest and open vest I just love. And it with a black skirt or colorful pants (even with blue jeans) it will just amazing. The pinch pants fit you so well! Love the pink and brown fit. If you still don’t like the pick I ask “can you dye them?” That blue skirt is cute can you stretch it. Put in a cold wash with fabric softener then stretch it over maybe the back of a chair or something else that is wider than your hips? I’ve seen lots of people jump in a shower with tight jeans and wear them till they dry and they fit way better. Any way you rock and thank you for putting awesome content out there!!!

The part where you wore the cow print dress with black trousers would be perfect for November (cool weather, as you mentioned in another video) along with the denim jacket you own, if I remember correctly. Another part-Pink Trousers (from 9:07 to 9:45)-would be great for a casual look. You could wear a denim jacket instead of a blazer during the daytime or evening. These are only suggestions.
I think its an excellent idea to make the cow print a top and id keep the cool frill just move it up and make it the hem. Also style the cow print with the pink pants too ❤
with the cow print dress, i know it was more of a trend in 2020, but the big dramatic collar on it is something we’re seeing lots of atm, so i totally think it could still work in this climate, especially when paired with more quiet pieces! i dont know how this would translate to wear but, perhaps even a sweater of some kind to go over the dress, then have the collar come out? 🤸🏻♀️ edit: omg i just saw the last outfit with the cow print dress! and i love how it looks w something over it 🥰🥰
