I feel like one issue with the app is that it doesn't accurately represent the proportions of the clothes. Like i thought that yellow jacket would be more oversized but it was fitted. I guess that's why leaving notes on the items might be important 😅 so interesting to watch still!
after putting so much effort into taking the pictures just for my clothes to end up looking pixelated & distorted, i wholeheartedly agree 😭it’s why i ditched indyx for whering lol

I don’t even use the app but in theory it would be cool if you could upload 2 pics- one of the item laying flat and also another of the item being worn on the body
@@karli4074 Agreed. Most of these items are available online so even having the picture on the model would give some sense of it if it's too much trouble to take a pic of yourself wearing it.
I guess that duplication of the outfits wouldn't have happened if you had posted your outfit on the app and the stylist had seen it in your Outfits tab.

I love how you progressively get more stressed about not knowing where your clothes are hahaha
I loved the video but I do have some comments to make.
I feel like most of these outfits circulated around what is now trending rather than creativity. For example, bloomer shorts are trending, let’s make 3 outfits with bloomer shorts.
I also noticed a pattern of mixing more athletic pieces with fancier clothes which is something that is definitely popular in NYC or US but not so much in EU (I live in Paris and it’s more rare to see outfits like that).
I would love to see a future styling video like that with stylists around the world so we can see more diverse outfits! I did not see a huge difference between each lookbook to justify their difference in pricing.

Righttt i feel like towards the end it was 2 or 3 pieces per outfit which is a bit of a scam at the higher price point lmao

It was a nice video with a great idea but I felt sort of frustrated with the missing clothes all the time. Maybe I wouldn't mind it if you just said at the start you'd be trying *some* of the outfits because you don't have all the pieces required without taking too much time talking about how you don't have the clothes in in-between scenes. But maybe it's just me, I just don't take even mild chaos in too well 😅
Anyway to no surprise my favourite was Liz package because I'm a fan. I think she's very skilled in matching even a lot of colors at once :)

I actually think it’s reasonable pricing, considering you’ll be saving money by not buying new outfits and getting inspired by what’s in your closet

@saranoad i know, but only 10 outfits for 100 dollars is outrageous to me... especially because you do not need to do any outside research and you just have to pick and match from a digital wardrobe. i understand when a style bundle is 200 dollars because a lot of work goes into the sourcing, but in this case, it seems too much. that's just my opinion, though!
idk i think it’s reasonable, it would take some time to go through everything in a wardrobe for the first time and then go back and put together outfits while trying not to be repetitive, and hiring an in person personal stylist would be way more expensive, even factoring in travel costs

One thing about gingham, if the print is tiny it just looks like a solid color. Like your red and white skirt just looked pink, and I think the boxer-looking shorts were also gingham weren't they? I honestly couldn't tell, they just looked gray to me,

I liked Liz’s the best it was middle range priced and you could tell a lot of thought went into it and she considered all your pieces
if youre already trying on the clothing piece, i wonder if it would make a difference to take a picture of a clothing item on your body and have it magically cropped that way so it displays how it would on your body... if that makes sense? i already know this might not work on certain pieces like a leather jacket or something like that.. but i think it might work on things like t-shirts, tanks, skirts, shorts, jeans, and pants..

hey laini 💖 love your videos so so much! I have the slouchy peachy den top in black and I know that they recommend dry cleaning only but have you had any luck washing it regularly? I’m afraid to try it since it was so expensive.
I didn’t know it was dry clean only… I throw mine in the wash constantly… but maybe the black fabric is different???

Most items you buy these days are available online. I just use the online images. Otherwise I do a google lens search for my photo and find the original online listing or something very very similar.
