Hey everyone, hope you enjoy the video! I worked very hard on the editing for this with the visuals, so hopefully it was useful. This is a difficult guide to make, I tried to keep it very simple, for players just starting out. Hopefully I met that goal. The biggest tip I can give you is to look at other TH-camr's clear videos (Sinzar for example) and look at how they build their teams. Soon enough you will understand the basic formula for each fight and how you can adjust it to your team.
Great guide. As a new player that starting from 6th anniversary, your videos help me a lot. I only use a team full of NV units and doesn't know much about unit role in a team. I have a suggestion, please make a video that tell new player what should they pick and what shouldn't from permanent vision card ticket. I have 4 of them and have no idea what card to spend them. I believe this info would help others too.

I’ll be personally linking this video next time someone asks about how to build a general team, your first sentence literally encapsulates the nuance you’ll have to expect going into a boss fight! This is a gladly welcome video in the arsenal for new ffbe players, very much appreciated! (Especially the timestamp i’m a definite sucker for their inclusion in videos =v=)
Great video, thank you so much , definitely helped out a bunch. What i find frustrating is that I don't remember every units skills or what they specialize in , and I find it hard to navigate through the units using the filters to build a specific team for each event/fight. Would love to see in depth guide on how to filter through one's units to choose an appropriate team for a fight using the filters provided in FFBE
That is a great idea for a guide, because you are totally right, the in game menu's/filters are not that helpful or intuitive! I'll add it to my doc of video ideas :)
Great vid for anyone more new too ffbe the best way too bulid units is look at the Information what the bosses dies too then when you goo too set up your units haveing 300% killer and lb damge up on your attack units matters more then haveing max attack were the number shows bule and nother think is the pots you get from the events use them on what ever unit your build and with your tanks supports and healer you can click auto equip them and then just chage there gear too what ever bosses you are face hope this helps new players and not complain pleas let me know I can break it down even more
I just downloaded this game again after not having played it in years. It is so different from the way it used to be. However, on my second day of playing yet I somehow did 99,999,999,999 damage with a solid companion (guessing it was a finisher). I feel like I have to learn a new game to figure out what I did!
Damm ... After 3 days watching youtube guide , Still i have no idea how to properly play the game , mechanic so complex to me , I dont understand at all :( , so many contents , event , gates to go
There should a button to shift to sellable units and then there is a select all button. Sorry I'm not in the game so I cant tell you exactly what it says. Its there, just keep searching!
A lot of stuff was said but I still don't really understand how to tell if a unit is going to be any good or not until you've levelled them up and unlocked all of their abilities and spells. I also don't know if it's worth awakening certain units or not, I'm currently trying to plow my way through the campaign and my party consists of these Runda Lv 70 Rain -Neo Vision- Lv86 Lord of Light Lv86 Seymour Lv 60 (maxxed out at 4*) Ihana Lv 70 So yeah, I don't know if I should be awakening Seymour more because I have no idea if he is worth it later game???
Just to clarify, this video wasn't intended to help you evaluate unit's strength in the meta because it is really hard to do that in ffbe without a strong grasp on the mechanics of the game and a little math (for damage dealers). My advice is to lool at the ffbe wiki unit ratings as a start and then check out youtubers like Deusgaming who does Should You Pull videos/reviews. In the case of units listed. Runda is an incredible tank and all his fragments come for the story for free, so build him for sure. Ihana is a solid support unit, not the best but she does her job well. The rest don't stand out as huge damage dealers but Rain has some Fire support and chaining capabilities. Good luck!
I think it's in a decent spot. The glex units are all fantastic and offer a lot of value for any player. And they brought back fragments in the summon coin shop so its less stingy. They are also buffing new JP units and old units, but the monetization on the old unit buffs is mixed.

Could you do a video on jump units? Fohlen gives a 600% jump damage boost but idk how to maximize it properly
Question how can I sell the Gil snapper, they are not displayed under units and can not be sold there.

What's the current state of FFBE now? I quit after Sephiroth's first banner. I got lots of off banner and no Sephi which made me quit.
