Welp, this Liv ain't as blinding as what you guys are claiming tho because i play both PGR and Honkai, i can say that Honkai's Herrscher of Human: Ego ultimate and finisher is the most blinding flashbang i've ever seen, because i literally had to look away or close my eyes everytime i proc that character's ult & finisher. Edit: idk what's in the head of game devs when making angelic/majestic/elegant/beautiful characters by adding flashbangs in their animations....

It comes when Remote Star Nanami/Nanamech was introduced (Her Last Bow), which is the patch after Pulao (Wandering with Whales). So for those who want to do 2 build on Solaeter Liv, you can take note of that when you should change your 2 Darwin into 2 Cottie. And good luck with your pulls everyone!

For Liv and the sake of my fire team that is currently in shambles, I shall be a light mode user. Until her dark mode coating is released in which I will gladly spend some dosh on.
The problem when the current Fire units is that many of them are underpowered-- Nanami Pulse is the biggest offender in that regard in that not only does she require direct control to actually do her job properly, the amount of Fire Res shred she does is hilariously low; -10% on a QTE and -15% on a Signature. Not to mention her weapon Hydro Heat which is the definition of Resonance Fodder; a non-existent chance to reduce a non-existent amount of Fire Res... Karen Ember feels like she needs too much investment to be good as her AoE feels too small, and as for Lee... *He has no flaws for he is the Fire God--* sorry. He's alright as long as you have yellow orbs which is never a given. Liv Empyrea is mission critical at this point if you want some decent friggin' Fire Damage. It pains me that I have to wait until May for Nanamech and even more so, next Christmas for the new and improved Fire God Hyperreal... but for now, I am a devout member of the Church of Liv.
Once again, another big thanks for making these guides! Regarding the no-Karen and no-nanami team setup @ 9:53 I've heard that Liv deals a lot of dmg herself so would it be optimal to run 2pc Einsteina on Lee instead of Liv? Guessing it has to do with Lee dealing phys dmg on QTE but just confirming. Also, I guess there's no difference between running Ayla as a interim tank compared to Kamui? I think it made sense for ice team back when she could apply ZWY with her QTE but not sure if there are any benefits this time around.
The schedule for global is a bit confusing... 2nd anniversary for CN is apparently around Amp Selena's release (maybe connected with Pulao I guess? I didn't follow CN news from the beginning and never played there). Global anniversary is in July though which is expected to be dark Karenina's release... either way... iirc, there was a paid S selector during the initial NieR collab, which allowed you to buy any S rank up to Luna (the previously latest S rank) directly + getting 7500bc through a 600rc purchase (unless i have Alzheimer's). Do we get another one of those during Selena's release? I'm a spender who doesn't go for every pack, but still usually buys the ones clearly worth more than your average one, and that type of pack seems to be good value. I was planning on skipping Amp Liv since personally I don't see much immediate use for her on release (tbh only with Nanamech's release I see the fire team finally getting good and I don't really pull SSS characters). Last resort would be when skipping her and them not bringing back the paid selector, pulling through the "all S-rank characters' rate up banner" that should definitely come back in time, possibly multiple times, till Nanamech releases, I guess...
It's because Global is on an accelerated schedule so we can eventually catch up (5 weeks typ. vs 6 weeks CN) so the anniversaries are never going to line up.

Well as F2P ( I'm also from the 1st day at released global) literally had all S debut character so far even with Plume Summer skin and of course didn't use any money. And yes you can get all of those cuz many amazing event and rewards are coming. Just remember don't invest SSS. If you want maybe you need to skip 2-3 banner

I’m 9 pulls away from guaranteed in standard banner, so I’ll wait until I do those pulls, who knows I might get lucky But if I don’t, what’s my best choice?
I've been using Liv: Empyrea (trial character) on events and noticed that she has so little orbs when you switch to her (about only 3 or 5). She never has more than 3-5 orbs when switched, making it a hassle to trigger her core passive. Compared to trial Lee or trial Nanami where they have so much orbs when switched. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal for her? My rotation is Nanami as starter- then Live and then Lee.

So, Liv's out now on Global and it says the Amplifier Class passive is that switched-in characters get 10% ATK, and then Amplifiers get 10% to their Elemental damage type, not that every character switched in gets 10% Elemental damage. Is this a mistranslation that'll get corrected later, or did everyone misunderstand how their Class Skill Passive works on the CN and JP servers?
@@Spider2B Oh, that's a massive relief then. And also, holy sh$% SSS Liv can REALLY buff fire damage then. With her SSS, and 2 piece Guinevere, that's like a 50% total Fire DMG boost if you switch a character in and then heal them. Glad to know you don't need the SS to get a 10% Fire damage boost too.

Who even uses bloom in regular gameplay? That's my second most hated graphic setting. First is motion blur.

1. yes lee's qte is physical damage
2. Bastion is usually better since his qte can stun but there's no major difference b/w him and ayla.

Liv is one of the most important ones. Characters like Selena amp next are skippable for f2p.

Base S rank liv flashbang is more than enough because in the later months, Palefire lee will have a huge buff that makes him overpowered
Even with Lee's buff and higher uptime his damage "pales" in comparison to Liv amp.

Liv is a good choice, you can get luna etc. later from the next free s selector.

So, Liv's out now on Global and it says the Amplifier Class passive is that switched-in characters get 10% ATK, and then Amplifiers get 10% to their Elemental damage type, not that every character switched in gets 10% Elemental damage. Is this a mistranslation that'll get corrected later, or did everyone misunderstand how their Class Skill Passive works on the CN and JP servers?
mistranslation probably: swapped in members should get the 10% attack and elemental damage
@@Spider2B Oh, that's a massive relief then. And also, holy sh$% SSS Liv can REALLY buff fire damage then. With her SSS, and 2 piece Guinevere, that's like a 50% total Fire DMG boost if you switch a character in and then heal them. Glad to know you don't need the SS to get a 10% Fire damage boost too.
May I ask if Liv Solaeter can deal much higher fire damage than Karenina Ember with Signature weapon?

Question. When Pulao's patch comes Transcendents are supposed to be able to be added to all teams. Is there any virtue of Roland/Liv/Nanami? As someone with a fully invested roland for simping reasons.
Metawise like one patch. You'd rather not have liv amp and nanamech on davinci and Roland can't hold it.
