3:37 SSS also buffs her core passive dmg by 20%, I forgor 💀.1:58 Time stop buff will give her interrupt resist on 3 orb ping, just not for now. The video is out a bit earlier than usual (she's out beginning of March) but Selena Amp introduces a dramatic shift in terms of battlepass and non battlepass players so I wanted to give the info as soon as I could. Again, you CAN still unlock her with the free shards but it will take multiple months to a year to SSS as f2p, hence why pulling is ideal, but PLEASE NEVER spend out of your own means, this is a gacha game at the end of the day. Final note: base skin is the most based skin because exposed legs, TRUUUU.
I don't know if it's allowed to mention another channel here but Fury released a video explaining that SS Capriccio with at least one weapon resonance can already replace SSS Rozen and that with 2 resonances she can be used across all teams.
The cost for that (7.5k BC ×3) still isn't really f2p friendly and you could invest the resonances in SS Empyrea and get better use of them, but at least SSS for Capriccio isn't strictly obligatory anymore.
@@Gan190 u do know that weapon 6 star is NOT 100% so u are taking a risk to get her weapon when she is not that good as she is still just a healer/dps.. no match to luna ofcourse so... not worth the risk..
@@mwx5314 if you pay attention I said that Empyrea with those two weapon resonances would have better performance than Capriccio and be usable across other teams too.
And about the 80% chosen weapon rate: if you, as f2p, get off-rated **3 times** while trying to get Capriccio's (or any other Construct) signature weapon you should either swipe or leave the weapon banner be (for a while at least). 6* weapons are still a luxury if you don't lucksack.

It's strange how camu who is a free character is one of the strongest trancendents while the farmable free character is worst then an A rank character
Their tier ranks are very skewed.... Even Tenebrion is such a great character for most teams from the very beginning lol

honestly in a technical standpoint
vera rozen will still be a better choice if you want to play safe as a free to play, veteran or not.
Mainly because:
1. she's an a rank
2. she's easier to farm imo (pain cage shop and her interlude stages (unless i forgot that you can't farm in her interlude))
3. if you already have her for like a long time now, especially if you've triple S rank her, it would be a waste to go and farm another one if you have the (irl) sanity to do it all over again.
Personally I'd just get Selena to SS then stop, just because she's best girl.

Finally, i started playing the game for this, its time
joke's on you 2B, I don't have to anguish over wheter to replace Vera with Selena because I had alredy decided on replacing Luna, lol. I had already build Vera as a dps anyway. please don't get me wrong, your guides are unvaluable, and I really apreciate them. your vids help me quickly understand the skills for each new characters, and this one is not an axception. it is just that ultimately I play this game to have fun, no one will ever reward me for going up the leaders boards or pursue big scores just for the sake of getting big numbers at the battle end screen. Understanding how the game works is really important, and i encourage people to analize the math behind why some team compositions are meta and others aren't, but after that using waifus makes the game more enjoyable which is kind of the point

What I don't like about Kuro, and thank god you said it, if that they don't come out with newer memories to mix and match with older constructs. They basically make new waifus, for the sake of making new waifus. I LOVE my Vera Rozen, and Tenebrion. They were made before new metas, so they can simply get older memories and still do the damage they need in order to accomplish the tasks. New ones, like Luna for example, have specific memories to them, that limits their potentials ( however Luna's kits have built in Hannah so I'm not complaining there.) I want PRG to come back to the roots, male any constructs viable.
It's nice too see someone so alike, I'm also about to run Vera/Tenebrion/Selena team as soon as I can

Damn, seeing that selena amp isnt better than my literal 2 shard away from SSS+ rozen makes me sad, but i still get to have her an admire the amazing construct skin, plus the skills are very fancy.

I would've been quite interested ( especially in Selena's case ) to see an actual numeric DPS/training dummy/boss comparison, not only for her ranks but also vs. SSS Vera. I know making this kind of content has caveats and is tricky but just hearing that Selena's better than Vera when she gets to SSS is just a very arbitrary statement to grasp without knowing what exactly the gaps are. Like is my investment returning a dark team that's 5% better? 15? ig I will keep an eye out for Warzone/PPC showcase videos after she releases

It's a substantial increase. Vera isn't designed for damage despite her core passive. Selena is designed to do damage as well as buff and heal at the same time. It's just the buff aspect of Selena's kit doesn't outshine Vera's SSS dark buff before SSS. Selena's SSS increases not only her buffs and core passive dmg to overtake vera. But yes quantifying the exact dmg would take a lot of time but tl;dr she does do a lot more dmg.

one thing to mention, in Wintry Shackles (Lightning Alpha patch) they give a free S selector and in there Selena AMP is a choice. I personally will just farm her shards in the event and just slowly farm her through BP and get her copy there.
u can farm selena in battle pass? how? will there be an update to the battle pass?
That's a long long time but yes that is a route if you're willing to commit over a year in time.

Just as a heads up to anyone who may be thinking about pulling her
1: You can get shards for her via a grindable event that's permanent. It's basically Deep Blue Warzone, but permanent so you don't feel like you're sacrificing your soul. I think the amount available is 50, so you can either use it to get her for free (saving BC for future characters like the arguably more important Nanamech who is extremely important to the Fire Team) or you can use those to help you get to SSS without having to break the bank for her. Shards for her will also be available via the new Battlepass which debuts on her patch.
2: She's available as a future pick on S-Selectors.
3: She doesn't play well with Luna at all, and that's gonna be a problem with the Dark Team until that S-Rank 21 they've teased comes out. In fact, the Dark Team in general has a BIG problem in that the upcoming characters for it ARE NOT better than existing characters UNLESS you go high investment on them. Spider mentions that Selena is only better than Rozen at SSS, the future Dark Tank, the oddly named Karenina Radiant, is only better than Tenebrion at SS3 (the ranking system changes in her patch).
4: Much like Pulao in the Wandering Whale patch coming in a few months, Selena is an "investment" pick. If you go deep on her, you're basically hoping that S-Rank 21 (who is a Dark Attacker) continues the trend of "Stupidly overpowered new characters" that was started with Empyrea and continues through until Crimson Weave Alpha and Hyperreal Lee so that she can replace Luna, who, as mentioned before, doesn't play well with Selena.
This is the comment I've been looking for. I was planning to build Selena cappricio into SSS but if I do that I will be wasting alot of BCs and I might regret it later if I didn't do enough research on how good/bad Selena is. Now I've made my decision and will save BC until balter patch. Thanks man

"doesn't work with luna" is an exaggeration...in fact she will be totally fine with luna after Time Stop update in 'Her Last Bow' patch (which is right after two months)...aside from this, i agree with all the other points u made. But i am still going to get capriccio anyway hehe and also i was going to get bp tier 2 anyway cuz it becomes worth af after capriccio patch and i would love to throw my money at kuro games.
Call me a psychopath if you will but im tempted to run sss vera, ss luna and selena as a dark team. Mainly because i really like these 3's play style
The problem is you lose the tank class skill debuff and vera and selenas dark buff doesn't stack.

Great Vid, very informative. I'm starting the game with a Dark team (have Watanabe:Astral and No. 21), but for some weird reason I still don't have a Vera:Rozen. What would be your pull recommendation for a newbie like me though? Should I go for Selena as a "copium amplifier"?
Selena is a lower priority s rank construct if you don't have the others like plume or luna to name a couple.

Since I started playing on the Last Spark update, I am yet to make any unit SSS and my pity is at 59/60, so I have a chance of making Selena SSS without spending a dime and not feel bad to bench Rozen
Question, I saw that Capriccio can use 4 Seraphine/2 Einsteina when Dark Karen comes out but it recommends SSS+ or SSS with deadline resonance. How hard would it be to get SSS+ Capriccio by the time Dark Karen comes out assuming on patch release, I pull one copy and i buy all tiers of the BP each month?
S > SS 30 Shards
SS > SSS 90 Shards
SSS > SSS+ 180 Shards
Even with both tier BP 98rc it take around 10 patches so
So around Alpha patch

SS is mainly for damage. She doesn't support well till SSS or 6 star weapon support reso so SSS+ vera will feel stronger.

I do have one on cubs. In general they are tied to their specific s rank or element. Crane is a good general grouper though.

it doesn't matter too much. You'll always be proccing core passive, so id go with that.

For me no Sss vera is way better as support not to mention way easier to archive
SS is fine for damge but just not as potent as a buffer until SSS. Signature reso also helps support.

What's meaning of SSS Selena can go any team?
She still buff atk and dark element, is she? So what is different?
Also, why have to trigger her core passive before swap out? I read her core passive is only do extra dmg by leave the illusion, is it have debuff or something?
1. Amplifier passive is buffed enough to use over some A ranks supports in other when's teams.
2. Also gives a bit of energy and damage
Guess I have to replace my Vera. I love Selena actually. Even in her transcendant unit, she's fun to play and frekishly hell to get her free sfx skin. I heard Selena Dark is free?

Yes she's free but only really useable at SS, best at SSS.
@@Spider2B would you recommend keep trying to pull for Garnet for my Veritas, Lux, Chrome team and farm Selena, or leave my lightning team as is and pull for Selena since my Luna, Vera (on SS), XXII team is already my strongest team?
garnet is a higher priority but pulling on the 70% banner its really risky. Selena is a lower priority S rank.
Is she even worth it for me if I have 2 resonance on AVera signature? Seems like a lot of investment for not much gain
If vera already has resos its prob not that much of an increase.
